Poured from a 12 oz can into a barrel Glass
The beer pours a deep mahogany brown with rust colored highlights, and a huge off white head that recedes slowly leaving behind an moderate amount of lacing
The aroma is toasty with caramel, toffee, and just a hint of chocolate
The flavor is mildly toasty with caramel, toffee, chocolate, and a slightly nutty aftertaste. Medium/light bodied and moderately carbonated
Overall, this is a very nice example of the style.

pours a clear medium brown color, cream colored head. Toasty and bready, good depth to the flavor, and drier finish. Smooth feel, I like it. Medium bodied.

16 oz can with a September 2024 canning date stamped on the bottom.
This is a fine rendition of the style. It's well balanced, clean, and properly carbonated.
