Served in an Ohio State shaker pint glass.
Way too few blues references, especially considering the number of Chicago-based breweries out there nowadays. Sad, really. Anyway, this stuff pours a hazy brass-gold topped by a finger or so of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises orange peel, wet hay, dirt, light coriander, and a generally off musk. The taste unfortunately brings in more of the same, the dirty earthiness mixing especially poorly with the overly-done spice mixture, which seems heavy on the clove and cardamom. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, this wit did nothing positive for me, the dirty and overly-spicy flavor combination sending me lurching for my water bottle. Odd, considering how much I actually enjoyed their original wit... Muddy would not approve, lemme tell ya.

12 oz bottle purchased from Binnys (mix 6) split into 2 tasting glasses
A - Hazy golden straw color, 1 finger of cloud-like foam, great lacing on the glass
S - Earthy stink to it, subtle hints of honey and spice
T - Sweet and creamy (thank you Wheat), much more tame than the nose leads on
M - SMOOTH! very clean finish, honey sweetness slighty lingers on the palette
O - When I initially smelled the bier, it was a little stinky, whether it was yeast or it being on the stale side I was thinking I wouldn't enjoy it. Taste changed it completely for me. This bier is exceptionally smooth and feels great in your mouth.

A: Cloudy pale straw, white head. No lacing, loose effervescence all around. A little American-adjunct looking for my preference. Bottle artwork is fun and descriptive.
S: Honey, wheat, spice. Just slightly faint, but otherwise it's all good, within category, and well balanced.
T: Yum, best part so far! Well balanced wheat, sweet honey, coriander, and other warm spices. Decently long finish too, while still being sessionable.
M: Light, fine but ample effervescence.
O: A pretty damn good beer! Initial evaluation was a little lacking, but the taste pulled through! The best beer out of Chicago Brewing Co. so far. Damn right! I hope this gets distributed soon.
