Our signature ale, brewed with spruce tips is a favorite of tourists and locals alike.
“This local favorite incorporates hand picked Sitka Spruce tree tips that add a crisp kick to its creamy, slightly sticky body and floral zest to the fruit and spice flavor.” Draft Magazine “50 Beers, 50 States” July 2009

Pours golden yellow with slight haze and bright white foamy cap. Sweat citrus notes of orange, pineapple and spruce tips, zest and spice. Amazing unique fruit and pine sap infused blonde on draught at brewery. Cheers to Alaska!

On draft at SBC. Cloudy golden yellow body. Toasted grain, caramel, herbal and floral notes, a bit of fruity spice, resin. It's fairly standard, sort of hoppy drinker; malt presence is reasonably clean and not too muddled. Medium in body, easy to drink, refreshing with good depth. An interesting concept using what is clearly a distinct northwestern adjunct that a lot of breweries in the area seem to like to make.

Pours hazy, orange-blonde in color with 1/2 inch head. Taste is orange, lemon, wheat and light spruce on the end. Sweet, light bodied with moderate carbonation. Makes for a delicious summer brew. One of the most unique and tasty beers I had on my Alaskan trip. Had several glasses and will get this again. Easily the best beer from the brewery.
