A pumpkin ale released in spring? Actually, it's a misnomer as it's brewed with winter squash so techincally in season.
Pours a very dark orange bordering on brown body with a creamy head and nice lacing. Aroma is fall spices and images of meat pie(?) with some sharp sweetness. Flavor has mild spices and a whisper of squash in the finish but overall fairly boring.
***While not bad, found myself bored by the lack of depth of flavor and for a 660ml bottle, getting bored is not good. Decent but needs to be cranked up in the flavor dept a bit***
