Appearance: Pours deep red with a little amber glow
Smell: I couldn't really make out anything except very mild fruit. Inoffensive?
Taste: Now we're talking. Dark fruity flavors hit you first - mostly cherry with a little raspberry. But after a few sips, the vanilla kicks in big time. This is probably the most vanilla I've tasted in a beer that isn't a stout. Finishes with a pleasing caramel sweetness, which is balanced out by subtle bitterness. There's a little booziness as well.
Mouthfeel: Light-to-medium bodied. Oily finish.
Overall: It's a weird one. But I definitely liked it! Another unique, thought-provoking drinking experience from To Øl.
