Purchased a bottle of this beer at the Craft Beer Cellar in Dallas.

Poured into a tulip glass. Dark reddish purple color with a brief effervescent head with little lacing. The smell is bright and pronounced with tart cherries and blackberries. Taste follows the smell. Tart and acidic with an herbal background. Nice saison!

Poured from bottle. Very bubbly, but head dissipates quickly—soda-like. Red nectar color, sour cherry candy nose, but a bit of honey (mead note) mellows it out. Kreik-like but not too artificial to taste; sour candy, cranberry juice, tart cherry. Pleasant mouthfeel for how sour it is; lingers sour and bitter for a while at the back of the tongue, quite acidic. The referment in bottle with raw honey adds some mead notes to taste but more to nose. Distant oak and cedar notes balance the taste out. No trace of alcohol on the palette. Better as it warms and loses some effervescence. Wanted it to be less sour due to the honey.
