Copenhagen 8/1 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Illums, Kbh. K. Purple can going from dark purple at the top and fading to æight purple iat the bottom in To Øl's usual Nature brand design.
Pours unclear, murky red with a mid-sized pink head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a tart and sour for mingling with a yeasty, funky scent. Sweet cherries, tart unripe gooseberries, sour cheese and a touch of barnyard.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour with sweet fruity undertone. A tad watery. Lingers shortly. Finish is dry.
Tart, simple and fruity. Pretty straightforward Saison with a light funky touch.
