Copenhagen 2/3 2018. 75 cl bottle from Mikkeller & Friends Bottle Shop. Strange doodles - which I believe is the "Germs" mentioned in the name - on the label.
Pours hazy orange with a big white head. Settles asa thin but foamy layer of foam dragging lacing around the rim of the glass. Massive lacing.
Aroma is pleasant sweet lemonade with a strong citric sour sidekick. A little spice - most notable a healthy dose of black pepper.
Soft - yet prickly - carbonation and thin texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by strong citric and sour bitterness. Aftertaste is tart but with a sweet and peppery undercurrent. Finish is semi-dry.
Real nice Saison with a slightly misleading name. I would expect that the Germs already have arrived to make this Saison interesting and drinkable.
