Finally our country gets a hipster ale named after one of our hipster towns and it pours a dirty golden blonde hue with the biggest three finger fluffy head and lacing everywhere, the smell reminds me so much of a green Coopers Pale Ale but just on steroids with lots of herbal earthy hops, pale malts and berries, the taste is also similar but with a touch more of detail with hints of earthy herbal hops, berries, lemongrass and finished with a herbal bitterness and overall abit of a let down for me and most uninspiring of all the hipsters so far hmmm cheers.

Pours a champagne colour, slightly cloudy with cream-coloured head of large bubbles. Doesn't stick around. Looks fairly dull.
Smells quite sweet upfront. Caramel and slightly buttery, then a fair few hop notes - lemon, passion and pineapple mostly. They're there but still fairly mild. Decent balance.
Taste is largely POR. Metallic character with grapefruit bitterness that gets earthy and dull towards the back. Touch of honey as well. Not nearly as fragrant as I expected; fairly bland and just bitter.
Thin body, decent texture though for the style.
Not my cup of tea; drinks very bitter, gritty and earthy. Disappointing.

Tried on-tap at GABS 2014 in Melbourne. Good to see an Australian city getting an entry in Evil Twin's Hipster series.
Pours a yellow-golden colour, firmly hazed and with some solid weight behind it that allows slow, thin streams of carbonation through. Head is whitish, leaving a thin, but fairly minimal ring that creates no lace. Looks okay.
Nose is light and woody, with a pronounced whiff of Pride of Ringwood—oh, I see now, use the most unfashionable hop in Australia. It leaves it a little bit savoury and dank. I'm not a fan.
Taste is crisp with empty malt laced by a crescendoing bitterness through the centre of the palate. Again, it's PoR though. Biting and slightly chemical on the back with a wickedly dry afterpalate that leaves the beer feeling extremely light and almost watery by the end.
Nope, I'm afraid not. While it has some of the "who cares" vibe of the anti-hip Hipster movement, this particular entry ends up tasting a little too much like VB.

Gold, nice white head and lacing.
Nose is a bit passionfruity over a generally lager-y base. Think I get the "lager-y" quality from POR. Smells really POR-y. Does have a bit of a peach note behind it.
Tastes quite POR-y too. Big, thick, chemical bitterness. Dunno if they've paid a tribute to the Australian hop in this beer or if it's just another unpleasantly bittered Evil Twin IPA. Bit of a tea note.
Average body, quite a lot of bitterness. Little bit of passionfruit.
Initially seemed insipid but it's alright I guess. Bitterness is not a substitute for hop aroma or flavour.
