Full pour at a remarkable burger place in South Royalton VT.

Basic session IPA. Nice crisp light citrus flavors with light malts behind. Good drying on palate, easy to drink, not much to it, but it does the job nicely.

Nice yellow color, cloudy. Frothy foam , short persistence. Pine and citrus aroma upfront, medium strong, some floral hops. Medium-high bitter, low malt sweetness. Bit of saltiness. Medium-light body, watery, medium-low carbonation, long lasting dry finish (medium strength).

Decent session IPA, fair beer. Will not buy anymore.

Clear pale blonde lager-like color, with lots of effervescent bubbles continuing to spiral up to the head. The head is 2 fingers, very fluffy, and deep.

Aromas of fresh pink grapefruit, grapefruit pith, pine, and cracker.

Strong citra notes up front, followed by some pine, biscuit, and cracker. What follows is some dirty tap water and watery pine.

Feel is very crispy, airy, and light. Heavy carbonation.

Overall, Citra Sunshine Slacker falls off halfway through the flavor profile, and I don't think it's a necessary element in a session ale. Flavor can still be prominent and alcohol diminished. I'd like to see more fruitiness and flavor throughout the whole profile, not just the first second of it. Still, not a bad beer on a nice day.

Reviewed from 06/25/2015 - talk about slacker!
16oz can into FW Imperial Nonic glass

Light, bright, and refreshing with good amount of Citra hops shining through
Gooseberry with grapefruit, herbals and a lemony zing, light malt cracker base
Crisp and bone dry in the finish with some mouth puckering linger
Very crushable - would have again.

Poured from a 16oz can into a pub glass.
Appearance- hazy straw yellow with a swirling vortex of light sediment and carbonation building a towering soapy white head. Lacing is strong and sticky!
Smell - tropical and citrus fruit meshed with a pale wheat malt!
Taste - the tropical fruit notes from the nose are absent but the citrus and wheat are tasty!
Feel - light, and well balanced with both citra hops and pale malts.
Overall - I really like the fact this is unfiltered; makes for a beautiful beer! Pretty standard for the style otherwise, though I also enjoy the pint cans!

-spiegelau ipa glass.

A: Strong raging effervesce within an lemonade colored body, cloudy with a crowning, dirty white foam head of 2+ fingers, and of good retention. Beautiful intrigue spiderweb lacing on the vessel.

S: Sour country time lemonade of nice strength, freshly cut lemons.

T: Flavor was freshly cut lemons, fresh dry pale grains, some background tropical fruit of sliced pineapple, semi-dry mangoes, and hints of orange and kiwi-strawberry. Some nice wet citrus and lemonade.

M: Very good and crisp carbonation factor, sharp and tingly on the tongue.

O: Overall you'd never guess this to be a dreaded session style ipa of

Can: Poured a medium dark yellow color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light citrusy hops notes with some bitter notes also apparent. Taste is a mix of citrusy hops with some biter notes apparent and light floral hoppy notes. Body is full enough for style with good carbonation. Somewhat more bitter then I was expecting with hops notes not as juicy/floral as I was expecting.

From a growler, pours a slightly hazy orange-gold. Big white fluffy head. Smell is pretty great: initial wave of dank, sweaty pine gives way to tropical fruit and spicy herbs. Taste is the same. Feel is a little thin, but not surprising given the ABV. Really good session IPA. Tons of hop flavor packed in this one.

On tap at Harry G's New York Deli in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a light clear yellow-ish color, with a very small head, and lots of lacing down the glass.

Smells like honey-covered grass, orange, grapefruit, and a little bit of pine.

I absolutely *hate* the word crushable when it comes to people describing how easily a beer drinks. Unfortunately, that word really does describe this one- it's so drinkable, and goes down so easily. There's a light zesty pine and grassy bitterness, a hint of honeyed malt, and grapefruit and orange zest. There's just enough flavor to keep it interesting, but it's restrained enough to drink a lot of it.

This is lighter bodied, really, really drinkable here- with a moderate level of carbonation.

This was surprisingly really enjoyable stuff for me. It's a really well done beer.

Poured at 47°F from a 16oz can (indecipherable can date) into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Consumed on 17Jul16.
SMELL: Strong aromas of lemons, oranges, grapefruit, and tangerines are balanced by subtle white bread and piney hop aromas along with hints of caramel and bitter hops.
4.25 out of 5
TASTE: Mild flavors of oranges, lemons, grapefruit, and tangerines unleash a gentle wave of citrus that is immediately joined by subtle piney hop flavors. Malt balance is brought to the mild hop profile as subtle flavors of white bread flow on to the palate while piney hops flavors grow slightly stronger. Subtle bitter hop flavors present the perfect touch of bitterness while hints of caramel produce whispers of sugary goodness as all previous flavors press on.
4 out of 5
NOTE: This was one of the easiest drinking IPAs that I have had. The overall profile was very mild. This may leave some hop fanatics desiring more from it. The bitterness was low and the balance was perfect. Evil Twin and 7venth Sun did a remarkable job at creating this session IPA.

1 pint can poured into a pint glass.

Hazy bright gold color like a sunshine, topped up with massive white soapy head that stands with very good retention, it slowly sinks to rocky frothy crown on the surface. Lacing is abundant in form of foamy web and patch all around.

Big tropical affair in the aroma; citrus, lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, passion fruit, peach, somewhat piney and resiny, also lightly herbal. Malt is also there too and nicely mingled with a note of sweet toffee and biscuit.

What are in smell also exactly reflect in the flavor but a bit less in term of fruity and juicy variety with only a dominance of citrus and grapefruit. The part of malt in the tasting is rather subdued with some sweetness and nuttiness in the background while hop still continues to pronounce with the herbal, earthy, and grassy profiles, yet resiny bitterness at the end to coat the taste buds and also leaves a long pleasantly pungent aftertaste.

Medium body with medium carbonation that is crisp enough to carry all the things well, smooth and refreshing, dry finish.

This makes me wow. So sessionable but doesn’t lose any depth or character unlike several other session IPAs, so drinkable and proper for light and comfort occasion.

A - Really hazy bright yellow looking kinda like pineapple juice with a 1/4 inch of foam that takes a minute to settle.
S - Juicy Citra hops mixed with a good malt profile not too sweet smelling. Should be good.
T - Pretty dank IPA juicy bitter hops in every gulp. Malts are kind of balanced
M - but it makes me think its over 4.5% since it drinks like a regular IPA. Still a Decent beer

Overall a session IPA which has a full bodied malt profile which makes it drink like a regular IPA. Drink it if thats your thing.

Batch 012. Clear golden pour. Outstanding head volume and retention, borderline world class lacing.

Quite outstanding nose of orange, lemon and subtle peach over a light pale malt sweetness coupled with a bit of subtle herbal pepper.

Solid light body that is smooth and borders on heavy light. The finish has creamy aspects. World class carbonation / body balance. The middle is nicely effervescent while the finish is finely bubbled and almost rollickingly prickly.

The flavor profile is outstanding. Hop flavor dominates with only very mild bitterness (orange rind). Sweetness is very subtle. All flavors detected in the nose appear. The finish is a slow fade of slightly sweet orange rind that adds grapefruit notes near the end.

I was skeptical of this at first because session IPAs usually leave me a bit disappointed, but this was fantastic. Poured from a 16oz can into a large pub glass. Look is a bright golden with a finger sized head that faded fairly quick but left a decent bit of lacing. Smell is tropical fruit and citrus peel. Taste is much better than anticipated with loads of Citra hop character that develops a bit on the pallet and lingers long after the swallow, which I didn't expect from such a low abv IPA. Feel is a bit thin, but nothing I didn't expect from a session IPA. Overall, very pleased and surprised! Definitely would recommend this, especially for the super reasonable price (2 bucks and some change) for the pint sized can.

Pours a hazy pale straw color with frothy pure white head that settled into a heavy ring. No lacing on the glass.

The aroma is bright and fruity with citrus hops. Mainly grapefruit with slight orange and pepper.

The taste is light. More grassy hops pop through. Some grapefruit rind and a hint of orange. Not overly citrusy in the flavor.

The feel is light almost watery. Quite dry on the palate with a grassy bitter finish.

Not very citrusy considering the use of citra hops. Kind of a boring session IPA.

Highly carbonated lemonade, cloudy with 4 fingers of off white head. Random chunks of lacing are left behind.

Pine, canned peaches, lemon candy. Floral and fruity.

Crisp melon, lemon candy, canned peaches, but only a little sweetness. Floral and fragrant almost like perfume. Some grapefruit.

Surprisingly dry with a touch of sweet sappy quality, little carbonation on the tongue.

Overall, a really good brew. So much on the nose and tongue, but such a light body. Got in Chiang Mai at Beer Lab, drank here in my home July 8th, 2016.

Crisp and juicy, with a dry finish. I could drink five. It's floral with tropical fruit and a grapefruit finish, damn that's tasty. Not too bitter in the finish to enjoy a few. Sign me up. This is how session IPAs should be.

Looks great. Clear, straw body with a fluffy white head. Smell is stale pineapple, some off dank, and citrus. Taste is a subdued version of the nose with a subtle grainy finish. Mouthfeel is bad. It's paper thin, and dry as hell. Almost a cardboard like lingering taste that doesn't help the feel. Session IPAs are interesting, but they never have enough body. 7venth sun is almost always better than this.

Out of a can into a pint glass.
A – Cloudy, honey hued pour with a full finger of foamy, bubbly head that left little lacing.
S – Nice subtle citrus aroma.
T – Nice mix of lemon, lime and grapefruit notes. Crisp and flavorful. Smooth malt and lithly bitter.
M – Light bodied with ample carbonation and a prickly feel at the finish.
O – Very easy drinking brew with great balanced flavor. I could have a few of these out on the boat catching some tuna. Drink up.

Pours a clear straw yellow color with a soapy white head that leaves little bits of lacing.

Smells of citrus and herbal notes mostly.

Tastes of the herbal and citrus hops layered over a light malt base. Hops lead off with notes of lemon zest and tea leaves. Lightly bitter. This gives way to a bit of grainy malt with a bit of sweetness to it. Finishes fairly clean.

Mouthfeel is light with a crisp amount of carbonation.

Overall, this is solid as a session beer, but it doesn't really stand out amongst other session IPAs.

From a 16 ounce can, this brew is light gold, hazy, and has a tall white head. The aroma is soft and hoppy....modest sweet spiciness...with a hint of fruit. The taste has lots of hop flavor....citrus peel, a bit of wood, and a hint of sweet malt. The finish is mildly bitter. Wonderful, drinkable beer.

16 ounce can into an oversized tulip. No discernible canned on date. Some writing on the bottom of the can but it's all scrunched together and tiny and would require a microscope.

A- Light golden color like a pils or helles, though a touch hazy. Rippling carbonation. Frothy white head. Lace aplenty.

S- Even from afar the citrusy notes reach me. Orange and grapefruit peel. Slightly lemony. Faint hints of biscuity malt.

T- Lemon-y. Citrus peel is heavy and leans more towards grapefruit although I even get some orange notes there. Light biscuity and white bread notes. Floral on the finish. Pretty harmonious although maybe a touch of tinniness or copper.

F- Light and refreshing and zesty and prickly. Great spring and summer beer. One that allows for multiple one after the other.

Certainly could become a session if I'd bought 4. I like this enough I'd buy a 4-pack.

Poured from can to taster glass. Thanks, Chris.

A: A clear pale yellow with tons of carbonation and a thick white one-finger head that stayed. Ample lacing.

S: Citrus for days. Mangoes, oranges, pineapples, apricots and grapefruit.

T: Follows nose like a champ. Huge citrus taste featuring mangoes, grapefruit, guava, apricots and lemons all riding atop a bready malt layer.

M: Medium with medium, creamy carbonation.

O: I could drink this one all day. The perfect session IPA with enough citrus to last all summer.

In canned format, aroma is full of citra hop which smells like unripe grapefruit. The taste is grapefruit and some mango, just a hint of creamy sweet malt flavor. Herb and grain notes pull through with the bitterness until the finish. Full body despite relatively low abv, its not thin in the slightest. Overall, a nice session IPA.

Very very interesting IPA. Super low ABV. Very very thin, almost watery feel. But tasted super light, crisp, bright, citrusy. Citra Sunshine is the perfect name. Hard to categorize this as an IPA. This is more what I'd assume a good IPL would taste like. Funny that if this were an IPL it would receive a much higher score for "feel." Not bad. Very smooth and easy and light. Bright. Crisp. Perfect lawnmower beer.
