Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a murky to pale yellow color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Some lace, but kind of stringy and glaring.
The aroma had some sharp citrus pulpy bitter to semi-sweet character flowing over some crisp passionfruit sweetness.
The flavor was mainly sweet pulling in a tight juicy bitterness for an ample balance. Light balance with a little bit of breadiness in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt on par. Some juicy to bitter feels along my tongue. Light crisp sweet citrusy finish.
Overall, it's a good New England styled IPA, but even this style is starting to get over crowded. In my opinion, Evil Twin shouldn't have to compete with the IPA market, just keep brewing those killer diabetic stouts. This ain't your field, guys, just saying.

Version #11,How You Do Anything Is How You Do EverythIng
On tap, Murky yellowish beige mud puddle haze, in a good way. Healthy head and sheet lacing. No floaters or particulates.
Strong citrus aroma.
Orange, tropical fruits, slight malty note.
Smooth, lacking bite or bitterness, strong carbonation to the bottom.
Delicious NE IPA, a style rarely seen here, so far. Strong effort brewed by Westbrook. Looking forward to more in the Erase and Rewind series.

The beer offers passion fruit, mango, juicy citrus, papaya, pithy citrus. Touch of bready sweetness. Medium plus bitterness. Grassy and leafy green. On the finish. The malts end popping a bit more as the beer warms, but the beer is certainly pointing Evil Twin in the right direction in producing in NE style IPA.
