Bringing a strong haze game, Evil Twin proclaims that the more that you squeeze the less that you have. This might apply to the finer things of life but when it comes to hops and IPA, it seems that more is more.
Their IPA of that same name pours a slightly hazier than usual appearance but shy of the mud puddle opaqueness of many New England styled IPA, the heady froth brings a host of citrus, grass and herbal tones from the liberal use of Amarillo, Simcoe and Citra hops. Lightly sweet, a hint of honey, spongecake and light cereal bring a short lived malt balance to the early palate.
As the malt sweetness acquiesce to the hops along the middle palate, the grains continue to support the hop flavor from a dryly point of view. Radiant tangerine, white grapefruit, pink grapefruit and a hint of lemon stem from a more citrusy taste, but the tropical fruits of tangy pineapple, kiwi, gooseberry and white grape follow up with a playfully acidic green character. Trailing into a tight and gripping bitterness, a peppery, grassy, herbaceous and overall stemmy taste of sassafras pangs away at the finish.
Medium bodied, creamy and drying, the beer's overall character is green, grassy and sharp with fruit rinds, ribs and peels as the session is crisp and refreshing, lacking the clean character of most IPA. It may be that Evil Twin squeezed just a little too much out of these hops after all.

Poured a light orange body, slightly cloudy, decent head, with an aroma that is bitter and earthy with acidic notes. Smooth, bitter bite at times balances with orange juice like acidity and sweetness and finishes easy. Not most flavorful beer but it's easy to drink and enjoyable.

Idk. Its kinda just any Evil Twin IPA. They all taste the same. Slight variation from hop combos. But their yeast/water just gives all of their IPAs the same.
