Somewhat hazy with a fading head, this lolks pretty decent. To me this smells like overripe fruits. It’s ok. Taste is very grapefruit plus strong caramel. Not my favorite combo.

Can't decipher the date that I have here. Says batch 1 though so maybe it's too old cause heavy pour yielded little head that disappeared to nothing. No smell of grapefruit and taste hard to discern but is there. Maybe next can will be better.

I had let this one sit for a while (since March) and hoped that the bitterness would not have faded too much. Not a problem!!!! This was plenty bitter. Poured an orange/honey gold color from a 12 oz can into a pint glass. Medium size white head with average retention, surprising size for a beer this strength. Thick bands of lacing on the glass. Aroma was mostly grapefruit with some caramel and bready malt in the background. Taste was more of the same with a good level of bitterness. Mouthfeel is crisp and bitter, no hint of alcohol despite the high .abv. This a well crafted strong, hoppy beer!!!!

Surprise Surprise Surprise, mostly a grapefruit type taste. A little bit more bitter than other ET IPA's i have had. This is an Imperial India Pale Ale with a nice kick of 12%. Color is a deeper golden and a nice inch white head. For you collectors it comes in a 12 oz. can painted label.

Honey color with about 60% transparency, thin white bubbly head.
Aromas of pine, grapefruit peel, slight pink grapefruit, grass, and honey.
Flavors of white grapefruit and pink grapefruit, slight honey, pine water, slight resins.
Feel is crisp and sticky, with lingering resins. Medium body. Hot burn all the way down.
Overall it's a decent beer, hard to tell what's what in the mystery four pack. I'm assuming this is the grapefruit!
