Seems sweeter than your usual IPA, but still enjoyed it.

First nose and first taste were excellent, but after further sipping I found it to be a little sweet- I think that if I'd had more than 2 tasters worth, I would've enjoyed it less, but it was a pleasant experience.

Cloudy gold orange color. Just above average body with medium light carbonation.
Aroma is oranges, citrus, floral, vanilla, and sweet orange juice
Taste is very similar to nose, a little sweet with a bit of a thick feel. Orange /citrus is very forward and is by far the most dominate flavor.
Overall it's an excellent beer. I would guess many ipa fans will miss the usual bitterness in this style, this just doesn't have that. It was also a little sweet but not sugary and it seemed to work for this particular beer .

Poured a cloudy orange-gold body with two-finger head with lace that sticks around. Aroma is clean, some citric hops and hints of vanilla. Clean, smooth, slightly citric with a touch of bitterness and tropical fruits on the finish and a fuller mouthfeel. Not necessarily any vanilla or lactic qualities but it's less bitter and still as tasty as your usual NE-style DIPA.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, batch #001, no can dating. Pours moderately hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, orange juice, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, vanilla, lactose, and pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, orange juice, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/rind/zest, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, orange juice, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, vanilla, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Slight resins/rinds near the end of the glass. Mildly increasing warmth of 9% after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic Milkshake NE DIPA! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, vanilla, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Outstanding Galaxy, Citra, Amarillo profile. Super juicy, lightly dank hop complexity; perfectly balanced malt/vanilla/lactose, not overly sweet from lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.

Nice copper look with a lasting head. Smells floral. The taste threw me off with this one. Way too much lactose for me. It does add a seeetness, but really throws off the balance. The finish is good, but can’t get over the creamy sweetness. Just not my style.
