Treated as a gose, this was poured into a stange.
The appearance was a nice ruddy looking pink/ruby red grapefruit color with a quickly dissipating small foamy white head. Barely any lace.
The aroma had some fresh blueberry flesh pulling a tight tart to sour skin-like quality about it. Some salt/mineral water. Sour/tart blueberry skin presents itself at a quaint level.
The flavor seemed to blend all of the prior mentioned aromas together sweetly, sour and tart. Authentic semi-salty to blueberry aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Easy going carbonation. Nice ABV. Fairly soft all around, not to much pucker.
Overall, really nice American sour ale. To say it's a gose, well, I tend to look for some 'sour-ed wheat' that should be present for the style and I didn't find any of that. Still, I could come back to this.

The last beer I consumed from this brewery, I dumped down the drain. The beer is 45 degrees and served in a pint glass. The beer's hard pour produced a one finger foamy head with zero retention. The head was white with a pinkish hue. The color of the beer is a straw color with a reddish tinge. The clarity of the beer is hazy. I suspect the yeast is causing a bit of haziness. The beer does present with effervescence on the sides of the glass.
The beer's aromas are berry, salt, yeast, wheat, and toasted malt.
The beer's flavors are salt, berries, yeast, grass, and toasted malt.
The mouthfeel of the beer is sharp and fizzy.
The body of the beer is low, high carbonation, and light finish.
The gose is a good beer. The flavors are atypical of this style. I would not go and hunt this beer again but would drink if given to me.

Poured 12oz bottle into a Weizen glass. Color is very magenta with a 2 finger fizzy white head that leaves some spotty lacing on my glass. Aroma is very tart with berry notes, specifically blueberry, and hints of lemon. Flavor really hits with a tartness of blueberry juice and finishes with tart lemon and a touch of saline. Feel is light bodied with prickly carbonation, quite refreshing. Seems more like a very tart Berliner than a Gose. Could use a bit more salt and some blueberry flavor, but it is refreshing.
