Appearance: Opaque and hazy, light apple cider in color. Some strawberry red along the edges. Very minimal head retention and moderate, to minimal lacing.
Nose: Fresh hops upfront, which fades away to very mild strawberry (barely there). Chemical fruit smell.
Taste: Totally quaffable with great carbonation balance and lightly malty finish. Strawberry comes through right up front but is balanced and subtle. Strawberry tastes fresh and not chemical or fake, nice. Some sweet vanilla works well with the malt throughout. Vanilla pudding flavor in the middle. I didn't get cherry at all.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours very hazy/cloudy deep golden/amber, light pinkish/orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/lightly tart cherries, mandarin orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, cherries, lactose, vanilla, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/lightly tart cherries, mandarin orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness; and fruit tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of lightly tart cherries, mandarin orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, cherries, lactose, vanilla, and bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness and fruit tartness balance; with no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, lightly sticky, and slightly resinous mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.8%. Overall this is an outstanding milkshake style IPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, cherries, lactose, vanilla, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Awesome soft feel for the style. Probably Galaxy, Mosaic, and Simcoe. Extremely juicy and lightly dank hops/fruit; with great lactose/oat/malt balance. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected. Just as impressive as the pomegranate; but this has more fruit presence, and lactose/vanilla sweetness.
