Draft at the Taphouse. Hazy golden pour, small creamy cap of head. Very light in aroma and taste, body too. Hints of citrus, lemony, grapefruit. Way too easy to drink.

L-pours golden and cloudy
S-light citrus aroma
T-juicy, long lasting
F-crisp with lots of carbonation

Great tasting ipa loaded with juicy flavor without being overly citrusy.

they just keep coming. this one is also delicious, another evil twin hazy ipa with a long name, fun to find one on tap in boise, not enough of this kind of beer seems to come through here on tap, so this was a treat. it seems a touch sweeter than some of the others i have had, but equally tropical and juicy as the best of them, honeydew, pineapple, and even coconut notes to the hops here, tough to say what the hops are here, and as bold as the beer is overall, all of the hop nuance seems kind of delicate, wrapped up with some dry cereal malt and a curious vanilla note, fresh as can be, all of it. distinct citrus in the taste without any real bitterness. there is also no over hopped greenness here, which is becoming such a common downfall in these hazy ones. its light to me in feel compared to some of the others too, fluffy and like a cloud, airy, without the grain density, which is why the little bit of residual sugar doesnt matter. coool sprt of springy complexion with the citrus, the tropical notes, and the light floral thing that comes out as it warms. tasty beer, a lot like some of the others in the series, but these guys have the formula figured out, and if they keep making them, ill keep drinking them!

Opacity's not up to NE standard, plenty of foam though.

Orange candy.

Hops? Citra maybe -- it's always citra -- Mandarina Bavaria maybe. Wish ET would list those. On the weaker side, doesn't have that burst of juice. The orange is subdued, doesn't make for bad beer, just forgettable.

Pours cloudy yellow gold color with a 2+ finger frothy foamy head that rose above the top and was packed with bubbles of all sizes, dissipating very slowly and leaving really nice foamy lacing.

Smells of pineapple, apricot, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, orange peel, wet citrus hops, light piney hops, sweet malt or wheat bread, graham cracker, faint brown sugar, mild floral spices and a mix of more tropical fruit. Good balance for such a juicy nose that has a lot citrus complexities. All these Evil Twin beers with long names smell good.

Tastes of tangerine, lemon, papaya, orange peel, pineapple, apricot, grapefruit, sweet malt, graham cracker, caramel, tea leaf, faint brown sugar, candied sugar, fruity candy and trailing floral notes. Sweeter tasting than it smells, this weaves the fruity aspects well with the malt backbone while hiding the ABV well. The drying hopping came through in the flavor.

DDH IPA 7% Spicy, herbal, flowery nose with lime & white-grapefruit.
Palate is pretty & elegant. Lime & ugli-fruit, with fruity, herbal, earthy & creamy/petrichor hops. The sweetness of the hops is ultra accentuated. Almost seems like a hint of lactose.

-cloudy tangerine can pour with a 1 cm foam cap and a bright, almost stinging, citrus aroma. The flavor is oddly sweet, immediately, and then again as a back-of the-tounge finish. Orange and mango are prominent. The mouthfeel is smooth.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours very hazy medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, watermelon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/light earthy hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, watermelon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, light peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, watermelon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/light earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is a delicious hazy IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/light earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; nicely soft feel. Feels like mostly Amarillo, El Dorado. Very juicy, vibrant, and lightly dank/earthy hops; with a great balancing wheat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example as usual. Not quite a true NEIPA, but close enough.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on December 18, 2018. #27 from the Erase & Rewind Series. Notes of papaya, tangerine and melon. Feel is light to medium in body.

Look: Bright yellow murky body (though not an absolute murk bomb), 2 fingers of head on a semi-aggressive pour; great head retention and admirable lacing.

Smell: Very tropical, with hints of papaya and tangerines. Pungent but not the smelliest NEIPA either.

Taste: Interesting. I'm getting big hints of melon, as well as the expected papaya and tangerines. It's a bit of a weird taste, but good, and grows on you with each sip.

Feel: Decent, relatively spot-on NEIPA. Creamy texture, medium carbonation.

Conclusion: A perfectly good NEIPA — hoppy, juicy, and refreshing.
