16 oz. Can

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice cloudy pale orangy/yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy two-finger white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach), nice little pine like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach), nice little pineyness. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty brew. Nice to see it around here.

Strong head production, and very nice retention and lacing. Snow white head sits atop a mango-lemon yellow body, hazily translucent.

Shocking amount of caramel malt comes through on what figures to be a very fresh can, along with grass, resin, dank herbs, and citrus peel, along with muddled tropical tones. Very old school in aroma, not at all what I expected from a modern DDH NE-IPA. Still, the aroma isn't quite unpleasant.

It's impossible to believe this could be an old can, but slightly stale hops stand out on the palate, as well - along with a slightly chalky mouthfeel. Regardless, quite a bit of goodness is happening here, too - and so I am going to review this as though it is stale, and as such an imperfect representation of the beer (which may be giving it too much credit).

Caramel malt, grass, resin, pepper, kiwi, mandarin orange, and pineapple are prominent tones on the palate. Feel is quite lively but smooth (and, as mentioned before, a touch chalky).

for awhile there i was starting to think a lot of these long winded name ipa cans from these guys were actually all the same beer, they all looked yellow and hazy, they all were big time dry hopped, and they all kind of had the same finish there for a dozen or so in a row, not much differentiation at all, but this one sort of restores the series for me, definitely unique and different, even if it does look the same and feature a massive dry hopping. the hops have to be some southern hemisphere types, green melon, kiwi, ripe peach, white grape, lemongrass, lots of fruitiness, nice for the springtime. the flavor has as much of a fruity juicy complexion as the nose, and its not just mosaic and citra it doesnt seem, a more complex hop bill and a ton of character to it, white cranberry, apricot juice, lime, it really covers a lot of ground. super fresh too, no fade at all, and even though there is quite a bit of body, its bubbly, dry, and there is no hop burn or greenness to it like a good amount of these have had. better than almost all of them so far, a bit more cleaned up too, really drinkable and delicious. id love to know some details on the hops...

With another fantastic attempt to fuse what's best about the New England styled IPA and West Coast dryness to create both highly flavorful and aromatic beers without giving up the dry palate of West Coast IPA, Evil Twin brewers choose hops that focus on the flavors of orange and pineapple.

Pale gold, shy of turbid, and cast in a matte pastel sheen, No Snowflake Ever Falls in the Wrong Place does fall into the class releasing a rich of frothy head. A strong presence of citronella shares scents of fruit punch with a bold tropical flare. Light in herbal character a balanced scent comes from a light gin-like set of botanicals. A moderate malt flavor first applies a medium coat of caramel, honey and pastry crust on the tongue.

But once the hops take command, the middle palate is a dedicated flavor display of both tangerines and pineapple. Bold in both flavors a more subtle character of lime, mango and grapefruit add support without taking away from the hierarchy of fruit derived hops. Trending gently bitter with citrus peels and a sharpness of green tea, a light grassy, verbena and chive-like taste adds a botanical earthiness to the late palate.

Medium bodied and trending malty dry, the hazy IPA has a slgihtly more hop tilted impression on the finish than anything malty or fruity. A crisp, clean and refreshing finish is off dry and assisted by those botanical gin nuances that refreshes the palate and allows for a great sense of drinkability.

Not that milky cloud I'm used to, plenty of head though.

Sorta fruity.

Amarillo maybe, musty sweetness of Mosaic. Probably should've done this one weeks ago. Better than blah.

Not dense, not smooth.
