Milkshake appearance, pineapple color, minimal white head, this DDH DIPA is bursting with tropical fruity hop aromas, including pineapple, juicy oranges, and an earthier note that may be the melon (but not really - it’s an earthy aroma to me, which is more than fine).
The pineapple and orange flavors are ubiquitous on the taste, and now I’m getting a melonish flavor (yes I made that word up).
I can’t remember the last time I had an IPA/DIPA from Evil Twin - probably Molotov Lite. I like them more for their big stouts, but I am enjoying this immensely. Well done by Evil Twin.

A canning date of 1/18/19.
A murky off-yellow/vanilla color on the pour. The nose is decently floral and full of tropical fruit. The drinking, hits upfront, with soft and plush hop fruit notes that are rather pungent. A smooth, juicy and creamy flow that finishes with very little bitter. Big hop fruit notes with lots of tropical and stone fruit tones. I get melon, grape, peach, plum, grapefruit, tangerine, and lemon. Moderate body that is very smooth, creamy, juicy, and a semi-sweet feel. The flavors linger nicely after each sip.
Overall, crazy good hop juice.

16 oz can from ninja box from mr alexsergio (below). Poured into THAT!NEIPA snifter.
This baby is murky as all get out - and I love it. Pale yellow almost dirty tap water color, which then gains more yellow as it settles. The head is 1 finger and leaves the most beautiful sparse lacing on the glass. Gorgeous.
Aromas of ripe oranges, white grapefruit, lemon, and the wildcard here is passion fruit. Hello, Galaxy! Beautiful aromas don't quit.
Beautiful juicy flavors here as well with a huge formidable grassy bitterness that brings it back into sip territory - which is nice because it's not gone as quickly! I get pomelo, lemon, white grapefruit, tangerine, and hints of passion fruit at the back. Grassy and straw-like bitterness with a hint of herbal bitterness as well. Not exactly pine but woody maybe.
Feel is creamy and thick, not quite a milkshake due to the busy carbonation, but it drinks like silk. Resins clinging on angrily at the end.
Overall an outstanding impressive NE IPA. Had no idea Evil Twin was making such great examples of the style until some brewery-only stuff came my way. Absolutely love it. Thank you alexsergio!
