Canned 05/19/19, it pours as black as used motor oil with a 2 finger thick foamy brown head that hissed and made crackling sounds as it dissipated rather quickly and left zero lacing. Smells of molasses, soy sauce, dark fruit like dates and figs, toffee, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, charred malts and roasted nuts. No hops in the nose but it still had plenty of great accents from the roasted malts and chocolate notes.

Tastes of peanuts, light booze, cocoa powder, molasses, soy sauce, dark fruit like dates and figs, toffee, dark chocolate, charred malts, brown sugar, cola, burnt coffee grinds and roasted nuts. Very complex flavor helps suppress the alcohol burn and keeps your attention with all of the chocolate-y tastes which come in waves.

Any Evil Twin stout with the name Jesus in it is worth a try in my opinion, and this stout was no different. Really tasty and quite smooth for a 10% ABV brew, I wish this had a stronger peanut butter presence but would definitely have it again.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high tan head that quickly settled down, leaving a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of peanut butter and toffee are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell but is more complex with additional notes of chocolate and caramel. There is a faint bit of sweetness. No alcohol is perceptible.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied and exceptionally smooth on the mouthfeel with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is like a liquid candy bar and is packed with lots of caramel, peanut butter, and toffee flavors.

Picked up today at the brewery, can served in a Snifter glass.

Appearance: Deep dark brown tinted black body with medium bubbles creating a dark tan head rising roughly half a finger's length off the body. Settles after a sip with no stickiness to the glass.

Smell: Light chocolate and peanut butter. Dissipates quickly even after it hits close to room temperature.

Taste: this brew I will tell you is a liquid dessert. Remind you of Reese's peanut butter cups. Chocolate fudge with a caramel tone and strong peanut butter.

Mouth: Sticky beer with a touch dry finish but strong toffee after taste. Caramelly, smooth with a ridiculously full body.

Overall: This beer took me by surprise. I was expecting less, but got a lot. Strong and super bold with flavor. It's like a dessert but yet you don't want the glass to end. Reminds me a bit of pecan mud cake but different. Drink with love. Salud!
