Gose w/ watermelon, salt and vanilla - Sweet Jolly Rancher and melon rind dominate the aroma. Notes of candied watermelon, honey and cracked wheat on the palate. Light mouthfeel.

Price: $6.99 at Bread & Honey in Manhattan
Appearance: 5 - straight up apple cider. Beautiful, transparent orange with a fluffy white head.
Nose: 4 - pretty sour, but not much flavor on the nose.
Taste: 4 - like the description. Salty watermelon. Watermelon, while delicious, isn't an intensely flavored fruit, so it doesn't make the most intensely flavored beer. Good for firing up the grill.
Mouth: 5 - as effervescent as can be. Fills the mouth with all the bubbles.
Overall: 4 - a very nice Gose for sitting out on the porch.
