A refreshingly tart Sour IPA brewed with milk sugar sweet and tart blackberries, black currants and lime. Intense notes of ripe berries, jam and lime zest carry through in the aroma and palate. Moderately tart. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation.

12 January 2020 - Beer #6
Price: $8.49 at Bread & Honey in Manhattan
Appearance: 5 - a beautiful deep, ruby red with a light pink head. Stunning.
Nose: 4 - plenty of sourness, but the fruit isn't popping as I expected
Taste: 4 - somewhat bland. As on the nose I was expecting more fruit and even more sour. Still tasty.
Mouth: 3 - underwhelming. Pleasantly bubbly but otherwise thin.
Overall: 4 - a very pleasant and drinkable sour, just nothing noteworthy.
Cheers!
