16 oz can from Boise Co-op. Orange golden, hazy, small creamy head. Aroma is peaches. Taste brings more peach, some white wine and a tanginess at the back. Smooth, creamy, ABV shows up late.

Nice hazy dull golden look with a white head from a pounder can. It kind of smells like a fruity brut sparkling wine. Wow, this really tastes like champagne and has a sweet tinge. Dryish with ample carbonation. This doesn’t get high marks on certain sites but I think it’s pretty decent.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a yellowish color and a mostly cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Above average lacing.

S: A pretty good aroma of citrus fruit, hops, tropical fruit, and malt.

T: Tasted of a decent amount of hops (more than expected, but not too much), a good shot of tropical fruit (pineapple, in particular), a little bit of malt (mostly in the finish; not a particularly big factor), and some citrus fruit (orange and lemon). This is a focused, sharp, and mostly likable flavor. Not as fruity as it is hoppy, but still tasty.

F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.

O: A solidly done, slightly unusual beer. Worth a look.

Fruity: doesn't taste like an IPA- tastes like a bellini. Deceptive; way too easy to drink. Worth trying. Wouldn't drink it regularly.

16 oz can. Pours hazy dark yellow with a lot of floaties and a medium rocky white head that retains fairly well and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet floral fruit.

The flavor is sweet tangy fruit with a little wheat malt. Tastes more like a fruity wheat than a DIPA. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, interesting fruit beer.

where i didnt think the negroni one tasted much like the cocktail, i really think this one tastes like a bellini. the brilliance is that its still an ipa, im not sure how they do it, but its magic. a really bright yellow to pale orange color on this, uniformly hazy but still so radiant, high white headed and foamy the whole time it takes me to drink the can. it smells amazing, peach nectar like the cocktail is immediately obvious, as is some preserved lemon, a white or green grape wine element mimicking the prosecco aspect, and the hops fill in the holes, uniting the two, some stone fruit, citrus, and herbal freshness all evident in the hops as well, just insane, and oddly pungent too, this isnt a subtle attempt at a bellini beer, thats for sure, they are all in! its amazing just how well it works, its complex and juicy, yet still is hop driven enough to pass as ipa, hazy and primarily dry hopped of course, but still ipa. sure its a little sweet, maybe some late added fruit juice or even lactose in here, but it only accentuates the good in this. it really does taste like the drink, and thats impressive, especially considering its as hoppy as it is. i liked the negroni one, but i love this! pineapple, papaya, coconut, and peach flesh to finish, my mouth immediately waters for more, no sign of its higher abv either. this is really expert stuff, not to be missed. the best ive had from evil twin in awhile...

Served in a teku glass from the can.

Appearance: Semi cloudy with sediments throughout the body with a white head rising maybe half a finger's length off the body.

Smell: soft citrus aroma, think of pineapples and light lime zest.

Taste: Semi sweet grapefruit with a smooth malty feel, quite tasty and easy to drink.

Mouth: Thirst quenching, not dry at all with a smooth finish. Not as sticky as some other IPAs created by EvilTwin with a soft to medium carbonation and still consists of body.

Overall: Good brew, you can't knock it at all, slightly different in it's sweet offset of your usual IPA. Wroth grabbing if it crosses your eyes if you ask me. Salud!

From the bottom of the can: "ETBEL1-AI"

Appearance: The body is both hazy and very turbid; there are a lot of suspended solids in the gold colored body. The head is short and white with a fluffy texture. Good retention. The solids in the glass are various sizes but average on the larger side.

Aroma: There is a cabbage aroma to the beer. It smells very uninviting.

Taste: Fortunately it taste better than it smells or looks. It has a bit of a peach flavor mixed with grapefruit. It finishes with a light hint of minty pine and a cooling menthol character which is interesting. Overall the flavor is very interesting, especially the finish.

Mouthfeel: It is smooth and has an odd cooling sensation on the palate. It feels thick when sipping on the beer.

Overall: This is an odd one. Visually and aromatically it is very unappealing but once you get past that there is a very unique flavor and texture to the beer. I would not buy it again but it is interesting. I would only really recommend this to people who enjoy experimental beers or curios. Typically I would say that a beer should be experienced by the bottle/can/pour rather than in a taster, but I would recommend sharing this between a few other beer drinkers because, while interesting, it isn't a beer that is easy to finish.

16 oz. Can

Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow/orangy color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, guava, mango), tart, nice little diesel like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, guava, mango), little tartness, nice little diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew. Addictive! Orange Julius! MilkShake! Nice to see it around here.

Tangy, citrusy, bitter and fruity, the art of mixed cocktails continue to manifest in beer form with the help of Evil Twin brewers who see the rise in the mixology culture and try to lure drinkers back to craft beer with a Bellini modeled imperial IPA.

The Art of Mixing Beer, the Bellini edition pours with the same creamy golden glow through a standard hoppy haze as others in the series. As its creamy and dense froth builds, the nose fills with a orchard fruit and succulent scents of citrus along with a hint of white wine, green tea and floral spice. Early sweetness is agave and lychee-like before a slight honey and nutty cashew taste graces the front of the tongue

And then the beer's fruity tanginess and hop forward demeanor starts to overtake the malt sweetness diving deep into the middle palate. A strong peach presence offers its own racy twang while the hops bring a bevy of orange, apricot, mango and papaya with those strong citrus flavors leading the way, equipped with peppery white wine, apple and cantaloupe.

Medium bodied and trending dry, the hop resins and vinous acidity work in tandem to provide a drying texture that is sangria-like before trailing with the firm taste of English bitters and green tea in a medium long aftertaste. The spice of hops and pectin show up more gin, wine and a kiss of rum further pushing this beer toward a peach focused wine concoction of a beer.
