I love a good Sour IPA, and this one sounds really interesting. Using both sweet and sour cherries is also usually quite good so I had to get this when I saw it on Tavour. Let’s crack it open and see what it has to offer
Pours an opaque bright red with a finger of pinkish white head that quickly fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing
The nose is super vibrant, with the tart cherry taking the lead. I’m picking up on aromas of tart cherry, lemon juice, earthy cinnamon, raspberry, brown sugar, vanilla, and light milk chocolate
It’s a quite a bit sweeter in taste but it’s still very good. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting tart cherry, brown sugar, toasted walnut, granola, sweet vanilla, lemon zest, light cinnamon, and cacao nibs. The swallow brings notes of sweet cherry, brown sugar, graham cracker, toasted walnut, lemon juice, earthy cinnamon, milk chocolate, light raspberry, and vanilla
A medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a smooth yet sharp beer. Finishes surprisingly dry for the smoothie-like body
This has hardly any resemblance to an actual IPA. I’d say just call it a Kettle Sour, but maybe the hops are at least contributing to the dryness. Regardless, this is damn good

Aroma of sweet cherry pie with granola and milk chocolate. Flavor comes off immediately with a wave of tart cherry followed by cascading milk chocolate and granola. The body is smooth and crackly, carrying it well. Not bad

A: Cranberry jelly with a pink magenta head.
S: Sweet cherries, vanilla. Deeper fatuations of luscious chocolate gives an almost earthy quality.
M: Med body, light on palate, jelly feel.
T: Very pie like. Here's how I think it's made. Cocoa powder, marcana almond graham cracker crust. Filling of sweet maraschino and tart bing cherries, orange zest. Topped with vanilla perfumed whipped cream. Underlying sweetness dances a tango with the tarter ingredients.
