Poured from a bottle into a small glass taster
L: deep back brown, with minimal espresso brown head when poured straight down. Little/no lacing. Deep red/Coca-Cola brown as I get to the bottom of the glass
S: rich sweet chocolate (fudge, brownies), vanilla, rum/raisins, caramel. Slightly boozy, less than I expected
T: most of the nose, with rich chocolate leading the way followed by a hit of vanilla. Sweet, nutty flavor towards end, get some tobacco on the swallow. More of an alcohol burn here. Medium finish
F: a little on the thin side, but not by much. Avoids being syrupy, medium/low carbonation
O: decent milk stout, delivers appropriate sweetness with some rich chocolate and vanilla

poured into a teku glass via bottle
color is espresso black with tan foam
smell is sweet vanilla beans and hits of berry jam
taste is artificial vanilla mixed in with an almost rusty flavor..weird
carbonation is light, as is the mouthfeel
this one is a big disappointment considering the breweries and adjuncts involved..it feels like this was rushed instead of giving the nurturing and love it needed
