Pours jet black, very faint dark brown lace ring head. Over a year old at this point but would still expect a bit more there.

Nose is coffee, brown sugar, Graham cracker, (I mean smores who am kidding?), I get caramel over marshmallow though.

Taste is sweet: chocolate, caramel, Graham cracker. Strong roasted coffee at the back end.

Feel: thick and luscious, leaves the mouth with a lingering stickiness. Only downside is there is definitely some alcohol burn but at 13.5% that's not really unexpected.

Overall: This is grew on me as I sipped it down, not my favorite of the 12 Beers of Christmas but it's in the top half for sure.

Poured from a bottle into a small festival taster

L: deep black/brown, zero head no lacing. Some decent legs, more than I’d expect from the abv

S: sweet sugary chocolate. Marshmallow up front followed by dark/bitter chocolate, some coffee roast toward the end. Slight abv burn with a (deep) inhale

T: follows the nose, marshmallow sweetness but not to the point of being cloying. Medium/long finish that’s much more dark chocolate and coffee, some abv heat to it

F: low carb seems appropriate, medium body could be a bit thicker

O: a solid stout that, if you’re looking for “marshmallow coffee” (whatever that is) certainly delivers. Not something I’d have a ton of, but a good end of the night brew

Poured into a medium sized snifter glass. Little to no head, what is there is dark khaki. Appearance is very dark dense color. Darknesss lingers on the side of the glass.
Smell is a strong vanilla/marshmellow, a bit of the alcohol coming through. Coffee very much in the background.
Taste follows the nose. Vanilla, pretty sweet, which I generally like. A very slight roast taste mixed in, but still sweet. Flavors disipate fairly quickly.
Medium mouthfeel with pretty much no carbonation, but silky smooth, and sticky.
Overall I like it, but it does miss the mark on a couple things, pretty much zero carbonation, flavors are there and gone.
My first of the 12 Beers of Christmas. Be well everyone.

Poured into a teku glass via bottle

Color is used oil black

Smell is coffee and almost a sweet bubblegum smell

Taste is coffee up front followed by a very artificial tasting Marshmallow..its bad!..so bad it disrupts from what little momentum the beer had and stops it right in its tracks
The marshmallow/bubblegum flavor does not mesh well at all

Carbonation is medium and the mouthfeel is full

This is the 5th 12 beers of xmas bottle ive tried and the first real disappointment...irs a shame as i really was looking forward to this one
