Poured from a bottle into a small glass taster
L: deep black brown, very small brown head fades quickly. Mildly thick lacing on the first few sips, decent legs - abv appropriate
S: raspberry syrup up front, dark chocolate toward the back. Wouldn’t say I’m getting much coffee - more chocolate covered raspberries than raspberry coffee (whatever that is)
T: raspberry up front, lots of it. More of that bittersweet/dark chocolate, and some burnt roast flavor. Starts off like a raspberry filled chocolate/truffle thing, but then becomes astringent and somewhat off. Flavor a bit thin, lacks much depth. Abv heat builds as it warms, not surprising but a bit much toward the end of my small pour
F: low carbonation, medium/thick mouthfeel. Fine across the board
O: a meh stout that doesn’t deliver on the coffee, raspberry comes off more jam/syrupy than I’d expected. Edit - just noticed label says raspberry cream coffee, not sure where that cream is

Brown black appearance, modest tan short lived head, minor lacing. Dark chocolate covered raspberry jelly candy, faint coffee notes. Moderate to thick mouthfeel, mild carbonation.

Poured into a tulip glass via bottle
color is a a dark shade of mahogany with rusty brown foam
smell is lightly roasted coffee and hints of berry jam
taste is semi sweet coffee up front with a slight twinge of the Raspberry..not overly sweet at all
carbonation is medium as is the mouthfeel
a subtle dessert beer and far less sweet than most
