50cl can, 3m old.
Light, slightly hazy gold. Nice head that goes away quite slowly and leaves lace and floating rafts of bubbles.
Classic aroma of honey and Saaz spice/grass/herb. The honey is not particularly prominent, and the hop is moderate.
Taste is well balanced, if somewhat on the dry side for the style, mouthfeel medium, hop flavour pure Saaz. The balance is broken by a bit of afterbite of hop bitterness, mostly I guess due to less sweetness in the body than usual.
Overall, good for an American try. Yet, the body is a bit too thin, yeast in too small a role with no hint of an effect, mashing and boiling were probably a bit too simply done, and hopping is copied from a more full-bodied reference point.
