Evil' Twin's take on a French toast stout is a sweet and boozy one. The flavor comes across as maple candy and even a milky background even though there is no lactose in the batch. The 13% comes in hot and let's you know it is going to be an interesting breakfast.

16 oz can, no date, purchased in Nashville, TN.
Carpe Brew'Em snifter.
Super duper thick squid ink black with a fleeting beige head of 1/2 finger that recedes to nothing in short time.
Aroma is of just-burnt/overdone unsweet French Toast/wet batter; some slight chocolate chip and/or blueberry pancakes. Elements of sweet brown sugar/cinnamon but they're subtle. Some caramel and hazelnut tones as well. Very unique.
Flavor brings roasted malt first and foremost, and doesn't open up until you leave it on the palate for a few seconds. After that, the roasted malt blooms into dark chocolate bits, cinnamon, fried bread, and finally a finish of maple syrup and brown sugar with extra elements of dark chocolate. As far as intensity/volume goes, it's not a flavor bomb, but it is super enjoyable.
Feel is wet and carbonated with a slick feeling overall, building creaminess as it lays on the palate, finally a touch of alcohol heat that blooms into an esophagus bomb once it is swallowed.
Overall, a way too easy drinking 13% stout. I really like it, and although I didn't get the french toast/maple bomb I thought I would, this is an insanely enjoyable beer. Wish I bought the whole 4 pack instead!

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque black in the glass with a half finger dark khaki head with great retention and nice lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, vanilla, maple syrup and a touch of cinnamon. Flavor follows closely, with dark toasted malt with slight char, maple syrup, cinnamon, a little cocoa and vanilla. Finishes with an odd combination of those flavors and a touch of cooked egg, so it does finish like French toast. It's a little eerie, but I probably wouldn't have tasted the egg without prior knowledge. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Everyone is trying to outdo each other with bakery/breakfast simulacra stouts, and I figured Evil Twin could pull one off. It is a pleasant, full flavored stout with the expected cinnamon and maple notes (noticeable, but not intrusive). Good finish with the noted odd French toast notes. ABV well covered. Excellent dessert stout, as expected.

Last year I did a ski trip in France, and I learned (amongst other things, like that French food is amazing) that my command of the French language was adequate to vacation there. So I do speak French Toast (easy thing to cook, too).
This stout pours the usual oilcan black with a nice little head. The aroma is a bit of a funky yeast, maple, cinnamon smell. I just checked the can and that's what they say is in it. It does not smell boozy - there is no warning. The taste is subdued on the adjuncts, so they do not overdose, with a huge malty stout underneath. The finish is pretty clean and not at all boozy. I know a huge can of 13% brew will hit me pretty hard, but you can't tell drinking it. It's good!
Highly recommended. This is an exceptional stout. I hope I find it again.

Can from Tfontana, thanks for the opportunity!
Inky black in color with a good sized but short lived tan head. Caramel maple and brown sugar with a hint of cinnamon. Sweet thick and sticky. Nice sipper.
