a: kind of a murky burnt yellow color with a 2 finger rocky off-white head. much much lighter in color than any other Vienna Lager i've seen
s: big bready malts and caramel. sweet grains and grass. very very faint toffee. there is a very faint funky oak note as well as well as some regular oaky and wet woody notes. a little lemongrass as well
t: caramel and earthy grains immediately followed by a huge oak note. some wet wood and lemongrass. toffee and more oak. i could understand if one were to think the oak was overpowering, because it does dominate in here - but i like it
m: medium mouthfeel with strong carbonation
o: a very unique taste on a Vienna Lager. the appearance is a bit different, and i like it to look darker, but i suppose maybe to be expected due to the oak agin. but the oak adds a really nice dimension to this

Cloudy bronze active body with a beige head. Toast, caramel malts, floral hops, and grains in the nose. Taste matches, oak is barely there in the finish, not at all the rest of the sip. Body is sneaky hoppy and bright, bready malts rule. The oak foudre didn't deliver when the stage was set, but a fine lager

A: The beer is somewhat hazy yellowish amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger off white head that left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass and some lacing on the surface.
S: Light aromas of toasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a bit stronger flavors of toasted malts with hints of oak. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer beer seems to be a little lighter in body and not as malty compared to other beers in the style.
Serving type: can
