Look - Pours thick and pulpy, with no head. The pulp sticks to the side of the glass when swirled.

Smell - Smell is surprisingly decent. Mandarin, vanilla, and a bit of a sugary sweetness.

Taste - Sour citrus, offset by vanilla and sugar. I like the sweetness, but I don't care for mandarin (I'm not familiar with clementine which I'm guessing it's also citrus).

Feel - I've had a lot of smoothie sours, and this has a similar texture. It's unusual for an IPA, but I guess normal for a milkshake IPA. Feel is decent.

Overall - This is the first milkshake IPA I've tried that is this thick. The style has a lot of potential, but I'm not a huge fan of mandarin. I suspect I'd love their Ryste Ryste - Blueberry, Raspberry milkshake IPA.

Served in a snifter glass from a 16oz can.

Appearance: Deep opaque orange color with medium bubbles at best to the body. Head is white but super subtle looking more like an orange tinted white rising barely 6mm off the body. Drops quick before first sip.

Smell: Strong tangy aroma with deep orange zest and heavy citrus consisting of pink grapefruit juice and oranges.

Taste: Call me crazy but most unique taste I have had in beer. Deep oranges and grapefruit with deeper tangerines. It has a sweetness to it offset but a not so quiet sourness to the beer. Malty and smooth hops galore.

Mouth: Full body with a soft carbonation. Very sticky, slight lactose sweet finish.

Overall: Good brew, easy for me to share...so smooth. Almost a dessert beer which I can see being great for after dinner drink, I don't know about during dinner. Always in a glass. Salud!
