On tap at brewery, pours a horrendous hazy, chunky burnt yellow, no head formation or retention. Nose is entirely artificial adjuncts and frankenfoods. Marshmallow fluff. Taste is cloyingly sweet. Overall, a pretty tragic beer.

Look: This beer pours opaque and hazy, with a light amber color. The head is white and not too thick.

Smell: Maybe my nose is off tonight, but I don't smell much. Seems a bit . . . boring? Maybe a little piney, citrusy and sweet.

Taste: Different. But I applaud EvilTwin for attempting a marshmallow flavor in a triple IPA. What I will say is that I don't taste the 10% alcohol at all. It's sweet. Smooth. Decadent. Most triple IPAs hit you with a potent bitterness. Not this one. The marshmallow is a bit overbearing. I'm getting an almost medicinal (think cough medicine) taste. But that being said, I still like it. It's a nice after dinner dessert-type IPA (and I'm not sure I've ever said that before).

Feel: I'm new at reviewing beer, and I just don't really understand this one. Feel? Well, it feels like beer. It's light on the carbonation, and it's warming me up. It feels pretty darn good.

Overall: Overall, EvilTwin is an evil genius for figuring this one out. If you haven't tasted marshmallow in an IPA, you have to try this one. I think it'd be best offset with another beer though . . . something with a little more bitterness. I got a four-pack of this on clearance at the little beer store down the street. $5.99 for a four-pack. Who wouldn't buy a 10% triple IPA from EvilTwin for only $5.99? I should have stocked up!

16oz can from Tavour. Thick, hazy yellow pour, creamy white head, solid lacing.sweet vanilla aroma, marshmallow, tough of citrus. Taste starts sweet, more vanilla, oranges, almost creamscile territory. Marshmallow everywhere you look. A bit of zesty bitterness at the finish. Creamy, smooth, decadent.

Served in a Teku glass from the can.

Appearance: Cloudy as fudge, hazy hazy gold color with a white head rising well over one fingers length off the body. Sticky bubbles on the glass the brew settles.

Smell: Heavy marshmallow aroma, hits the nose like a bullet through paper. You smell hops but definitely offset by sweet sugars.

Taste: Sweet off the bat with a complicated lactose sugar which is evident and light doses of hops. Bitter and milky sweet. Vanilla, light malt with doses of Marshmallow...get ready to inhale.

Mouth: Sticky body. Very soft carbonation and did I mention sticks like white on glue. Seriously.

Overall: Good brew, might be a reinvention of a previous ETNYC brew that I had. Be glad if you get to have it. Salud!

Pours out a turbid pale yellow. Completely opaque. On an aggressive pour, it yield two fingers of soapy looking white foam. Moderately strong lacing.

Nose is citrus and tropical notes. Tangerine, orange, pineapple, grassy hops, and candy like vanilla which would be the marshmallow. Initially this smelled like a regular IPA but as it warmed the marshmallow came through more and more.

Taste has a stronger presence of marshmallow. Almost taking the lead. But it is quickly met by the fruit juice flavors. Orange, pineapple, grapefruit on the taste. Sweetness from the mallow but also a nice bitterness from the hops. This is a Creamsicle.

Mouthfeel is medium to full-bodied with slightly above mild carbonation. I feel that the marshmallow bumps up the smoothness giving it that almost full bodied feel. There is a sharpness on the tongue. I'm not sure if its hop burn, the carbonation, the ABV at 10%, or a combination. But there is a tiny bit of bite on this one. Hard to place what it is.

Overall, I enjoy Evil Twin's use of marshmallow in these brews. And for them, the title of this can may be true. Milk sugar is certainly less obtrusive than mallow. When you put mallow into a brew, you know that its there. The candied vanilla and the smoothness bring that unique characteristic and ET aren't afraid to use it in whatever they want. Its like selecting a different brush for painting. There's just a roundness that it provides that often feels more welcome than unwelcome.

Another great brew by ET. Never stop being weird.
