16oz can from Tavour. Near black pour, thin creamy layer of beige head, solid lacing. Rich, roasted malts, chocolate, faint notes of coffee, anise. Taste brings a bit of sweetness, chocolate, light bitter roast. Creamy, smooth, wonderful mouthfeel. So tasty.

Pours pitch black color with a solid 2 finger thick foamy tan colored head that faded very slowly and left really nice lacing coating the glass with a layer on top. It smelled of roasted malts, burnt coffee grinds, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, smoked grains and a mix of piney and floral notes as it faded.
Tastes of of roasted malts, burnt coffee grinds, cocoa powder, smoked grains, dark chocolate, charred wood, faint black licorice, oaky notes, campfire smoke, piney hops, some citrus and floral notes, then an ashy aftertaste. It’s bittersweet, complex and tasty with lots of char and malty notes. It’s smooth and hides the ABV well.

This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and a lot of lacing.
This smells like roasted malt, smoke, dark chocolate, herbal hops, and some dark fruity sweetness.
This is a really solid and no frills porter from a brewery that is quite known for their frills, so that's nice to see. It's got light smoke, and a hearty roasty, dark chocolatey malt backbone. There's a hint of fruity malt sweetness, with a touch of herbal hop bitterness.
This is medium bodied, pretty creamy and rich, with a great drinkability and no real booziness to it.
Evil Twin NYC is obviously good at making absurd pastry dream/hellscapes, but it's cool to also see them dial it back a notch and make just normal, dependable beer.

Pours black with a 1 1/2 inch tan head, which lasts. Heavy lacing to the end.
Aroma of roast malt, coffee, cocoa nibs.
Taste is robust coffee, cocoa, caramel, roast malt, black malt, ash.
Full bodied, light carbonation. Dry, astringent finish.
A very nice Porter.
