Nice beer. Copper in color, like a NE Style.Head is white, bright white with great lacing. Nose is citrusy. Taste is juicy and slightly bitter but that fades. Very good beer.

Two is company, but three is a crowd -that's what they say, but they've never had a "triple" IPA. And with the three headed hop monster of Citra, Wakatu and Waimea hops, a aénage à trois with the senses is about to happen.

Evil Twin's... deep breath... and go... IPA Is Not A Problem To Be Solved, But A Reality To Be Experienced (whew!) pours with the standard golden turbidity that's synonymous with the hazy styles while floating a creamy ivory crown. A radiant bouquet of fruit and flowers spill from the rim and greet the nose with stone and orchard fruits with a followup of tropical, citrus and herb. To the taste thorough, first impressions come sweet with poundcake, honey and cereal.

While the malts show a reluctance to fade, the hops leap onto the middle palate with a branch ripe taste of peach, apricot and pawpaw. While a complement of orange, grapefruit and lime create a racy flavor to complement the stone fruit, the late blend of mango and pineapple create a succulent set of complexities for added measure. A mild mannered bitterness closes the session with suggestions of pine, gin and tea.

Full bodied but striving for a sense of dryness at closure, the beer's malty-dry overall textures allow for a persistence of cereal sweetness that keeps the session fruity and juicy even late. Finishing spicy and sweet, a long extension of fruit peel, gin-like botanicals and sun tea.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with good-sized, off-white head of foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of pineapple, grapefruit, orange, guava and sweet caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.
