poured from a 16oz can into a new glarus dimpled mug. pours a hazy yellow with two fingers of soapy white foam head. grass, lemon, white bread and some spicy hops. taste follows but with an even spicier hop profile. fairly easy drinking but the hop spiciness makes you slow down a bit. thick, full mouthfeel. this one is interesting. i’ve enjoyed most of this series that i’ve been able to try and this is no exception but it’s not my favorite of this series either.

16oz can from Tavour. Cloudy golden pour, lively carbonation, thick fluffy white head. Grainy aroma, mildly sweet, biscuity. Taste is malty, grainy, sweet with a nice crispy hop backend.

This one pours a mostly clear golden yellow color, with a fluffy head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like fresh Noble hops, with spice, grassiness, herbal character, and some oak.

How is this the same brewery that makes cotton candy sours? This is really excellent. The oak does quite a bit to smooth out the edges of this beer, and add some spice. The hop character is wonderful, with a firm grassy/herbal/spicy character. There's a touch of bready/biscuity malt.

This is light bodied, super crisp, very clean, and exceedingly drinkable.

It looks like I absolutely need to try their other lagers - this is a really cool surprise.
