A 7%, tart, slightly sweet, very refreshing sour IPA, with pineapple of course.

The beer is a clear orange with practically no head. This would be fine except that the label for Pink Pineapple shows a hazy pink beer with a thick white head, so it feels pretty deceptive having a beer glass on the label that looks nothing like the actual beer.
The aroma is so faint that I can't pick out anything at all. Maybe there the slightest hint of pineapple? Or maybe I'm imagining because of the name.
The taste is tart, mostly lemon with some grapefruit and maybe a hint of pineapple. There's no sweetness or hop flavor or anything else, just a straight tartness, like lemon flavored water. It's straight forward, one dimensional, and boring.
Mouthfeel is fine.
Overall, I find this disappointing and kind of deceptive. The name and label made me think that I was getting a unique, hazy pink beer that would be tart and sweet and pineapple flavored. What I actually got is a clear orange beer that tastes more like lemon than anything else.
After drinking half the glass and being bored of it, I added some homemade grenadine to it, and the beer was much improved. The grenadine gave it a pinkish color, some sweetness to balance out the sour, and a lovely depth of flavor that actually made it taste much more like pineapple.

Slightly hazy pinkish orange sunset color with a short lived off white head.
The aroma is pineapple and cherry candy, maybe a little citrus.
The taste is sour/sweet pineapple, lime, and cherry Koolaid, a little weird but not entirely unpleasant.
The body is full, somewhat syrupy, plenty of carbonation.
Altogether, this is interesting but a bit too weird and sweet to be a regular item for me, although there is a touch of bitterness - citrus zest or something like it. The bitterness level is low for an American IPA, this strikes more as a sour with just a kick of bitterness.

I have no idea what type of beer this is supposed to be (IPA? really?) but it had all of the characteristics of a Bud Light Lime and because of that, I could not continue drinking it - heavily carbonated citrus water.

On tap at Pour Taproom in Buffalo, NY.
This one pours a pink-ish/orange-ish color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like some sort of like pineapple or citrus hard candy, a bit of lemon, and sugar.
This is much, much too sweet for a sour IPA, as it kind of tastes like a melted slurpee or melted pineapple candies. Some sourness or other hop character could help to tamp down the artificial sweetness - but even with those things, it still just tastes so sickly sweet and artificial. There's not much to save that.
This is medium bodied, and kind of syrupy, with not the best drinkability.
This is kind of an artificial and cloying mess.

16 oz can.
Pours a hazy watermelon color with minimal pink-white head. Very little retention with some splotchy lacing.
Aromas of candied pineapple, cherry Starburst, and some grainy malts.
The flavor is more like a cherry slushie. Sweet, candy-like flavor with some subtle tartness. No pineapple whatsoever. Ok.
The feel is light bodied with high carbonation. Acidic and dry. Not right for anything calling itself an IPA.
Overall, this is a poor example of...whatever the hell this beer is trying to be. You can call this a "Sour IPA" on the can but it's really just a kettle beer, and a weak one at that.

On draft. Poured a clear, pale golden yellow with a very small, pinkish head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of tart pineapple, lemon and sweet caramel. Sweet pineapple with tart notes. Some lemon with toasted caramel and a mild bitterness.

NOTE: swish the can after a little is poured in order to get all the sediment, it improves for beer. Nose is slightly sweet and slightly sour. Head is white. Taste is like the nose, slightly sweet and slightly sour. Would call this more of a sour or gose flavor profile than IPA.
