Nice murky deep orange tropical concoction look with a head that settles to a quick ring. Wow the fruit juicy nose on this beer is really nice, it doesn’t say beer to me but it’s a knockout anyway. Yum, sweet guava, mango, pineapple it’s all here followed by a tart finish. Thicker yet decently carbonated and somewhat crisp if that can be possible. Some lingering sweet tropical notes are there. Yo, pretty much a fantastic fruited sour here. Highly recommend.

Poured from a can (released 19Feb2021) into a Teku

L: pours a totally opaque dark orange/red (like a blended smoothie) with lots of visible floaties and a head that fades after a couple minutes. Leaves some chunky lacing as it does, each sip leaving more floaty residue than lacing

S: quite sweet tropical fruit nose, a bit tart but not overly so. Get tons of guava leading, mango and pineapple coming in close behind. Like a very rich smoothie with some sour notes lurking behind, balanced but present acidity that works very well with the fruit adjucnts. Imagine it’s puree

T: i mean this is literally a smoothie. less tart on the swallow, sweet fruit leads for sure. That rich combination of guava/mango/pineapple shines, tastes overripe and like very juicy/sugary fresh cut fruit (if that makes sense). Would like this to be a bit more sour on the swallow, the finish leaves a lingering sweet flavor and a general sweet breakfast smoothie impression. Zero abv present, which I’d say fits

F: medium carbonation, medium+/heavy- body, slightly drying. Like a slightly thin smoothie

O: a very fruit forward sour ale, could be a bit more sour as the fruit is seriously sweet (not surprising). If you’re looking for sweet fruit with booze, well here you go. If smoothie sour was a category would put it there (what a time to be drinking beer)
