This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells pretty nutty, with dried berry, raisin, oak, vanilla, earthy coconut, chocolate syrup, honey, and coffee.
This is one of the best in this series that I've had so far. There's a lot of competing flavors here, but none of them stand out more strongly than the other - they all kind of come together and make a sort of new unheard of flavor. This is the best use of these fancy wine barrels in this series so far - it adds a solid dried cherry/raisin/berry sort of note - nothing overwhelming. It's just a nice complementary flavor. It's nutty, with a bit of bitter oak and some tobacco. There's also vanilla notes, a touch of coffee, and just a hint of coconut.
This is thick, and with no real booziness to it at all. It's somewhat syrupy, pretty sticky, but overall pretty drinkable.
This is really a top notch, top tier pastry stout. The stuff that ETNYC has been putting out has been mostly very impressive for me.

Served in a baby snifter glass (4oz) from the can.
Appearance: deep dark brown vanilla extract looking brew which pours like espresso. Almost no head risong at the most 2mm of the body.
Smell: Sweet red wine, almost like a merlot soaked in honey. Hits the nose hard but leaves almost as quick.
Taste: Complicated breeze vanilla, cocoa, and deep honey. Red wine notes without the bitterness.
Mouth: Not trying to hype, stickiness is perfect. After-taste is like brown on coffee, just sticks. Soft carbonation, semi sweet finish with a ridiculously full body.
Overall: Good brew, lust it. Don't know exactly if I will taste another one like it again and thankfully I have 3 more 8oz cans to go. Good brew, wouldn't pass it up for a second. Salud.
