Imperial milkshake IPA

Like sippin’ on some fresh squeezed clementine, mandarin juice accented with sweet vanilla beans. Contains milk sugar. Tasting notes of creamsicles and melted orange ice pops.

Pours a very cloudy and opaque golden color with a small foamy head. Head retention is virtually non-existent as is lacing. Ther are some black flecks at the top. Has a citrus aroma with a hint of vanilla. The taste is the same. It is really more of a fruited sour than a milkshake IPA in my opinion. It is still good, though. Heavy bodied with mild to carbonation.

This is difficult to rate to style, as it drinks far more like a fruited sour than a NEIPA. Strong notes of orange and tangerine with a vanilla and lactose backbone. Tart from the citrus, slightly bitter, extremely thick in both appearance (the head takes ~30 seconds to settle and it has very visible sediment) and mouthfeel, and finishes quite sweet. Not bad overall, but IMO far more similar to a fruited smoothie sour due to the heavy fruit adjunct usage than an (even milkshake) NEIPA.

Super juicy orange flavors. Vanilla backbone is the glue. Very tasty.

Thicccck.

Really good. Loses some points for maybe not being actual beer.

Served in a snifter glass from the can.

Appearance: Deep opaque orange color with medium bubbles at best to the body. Head is white but super subtle looking more like an orange tinted white rising barely 6mm off the body. Drops quick before first sip.

Smell: Strong tangy aroma with deep orange zest and heavy citrus consisting of pink grapefruit juice and oranges.

Taste: Call me crazy but most unique taste I have had in beer. Deep oranges and grapefruit with deeper tangerines. It has a sweetness to it offset but a not so quiet sourness to the beer. Malty and smooth hops galore.

Mouth: Full body with a soft carbonation. Very sticky, slight lactose sweet finish.

Overall: Orange juice, tangerine and clementines all vanilla and milk sugar doused to the end. Juicy and very hard to let go. Salud!
