Excellent head production and decent retention.
Very potent nose. The liqueur comes through, although with the coconut added, it's not immediately apparent that it's rum (vice bourbon). Additional notes of chocolate and light char.
Rum is more present on the palate, but very complementary to the massive malt base. It builds through the first third, rising to a peak around mid-sip, which is coincidentally where the coconut emerges, almost out of nowhere. Chocolate coats everything, entirely in the background but very pleasant. The cinnamon adds a little heat (almost lost in the alcohol sting), and like the cacao is complementary overall.

Pours pitch black color with a 1-2 finger thick brown foamy head that faded quickly and left basically zero lacing. Smells of coconut, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, Hershey’s chocolate syrup, milk chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla and hints of bourbon. Tastes just like it smells but with a lot more dark chocolate and cocoa. Surprisingly it was smoother than expected for such a high ABV brew, with the coconut and cocoa getting stronger as it warmed up. It was quite complex and not sweet, instead coming off roasty with mild booze and lots of chocolate with coconut in the finish. This was a really enjoyable beer.

Pours out a thick black ink. On a heavy pour, there's no bubble showing up here.
Nose is a chocolate-covered Macaroon sitting next to a glencairn full of bourbon. Huge chocolate and coconut and oak. Light cinnamon sits underneath, but you always know when cinnamon shows up to the party.
Taste follows to a tee. A little more boozy though, on the taste. Hot and drying. The chocolate and coconut are substantial. Really rich, dense, meaty chocolate. Like biting into an below room temperature 60% Cacao Lindt Truffle. And the coconut is just sublime. Complimentary, nutty, subtle. Oak is present but not overwhelming.
Cinnamon giving the whole package a a pastry shop feel.
Mouthfeel is fullbodied and thick but extremely drying. Like an ink that coats your tongue and then dries it out. Very strange.
Overall, this a delicious dessert brew. I love coconut, so this was definitely a knockout for me. This is a lot to have by yourself, but it's Christmas so Cheers!

Served in a snifter from the can which I picked up at Evil Twin NYC a few months ago.
Appearance: A super thick dark brown syrup with a dark tan head which I Italy rises half a finger's length off the body.
Smell: Deep masses aroma which is accompanied with whiskey and coconut and hints of whiskey. Hovers the nose like a smart bomb in your worst best friends car, however this bomb smells like heaven.
Taste: A touch boozy from the beginning. Comes off with a super heavy coconut, mellow mocha and touch light spiciness resembling cinnamon or a splash of nutmeg.
Mouth: Sticky, like seriously sticky. All I am feeling is a sweet finish accompanied with smooth malt.
Overall: If I see this one again, I'll grab at the very minimum two if I can. Special place in my heart which I can't let go. Salud!

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque black in the glass with a quarter finger brown head with great retention and nice lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, coconut, rich cocoa and a touch of cinnamon. Flavor follows, deep dark toasted malt with a little biscuit, milk and dark chocolate, coconut and cinnamon. Lingering chocolate cinnamon. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess. Another stout that is really reminiscent of Almond Joy, although no almonds were harmed in its production. A quite rich malt body that leans to Russian imperial stout, and authentic tasting chocolate. Coconut and cinnamon are deftly handled. I'm a huge fan of Evil Twin stouts and a big fan of this too. Definitely a dessert stout.

Name is so long it got cut off upon submission. Includes cinnamon and was aged in Papa Pilar rum barrels. Way over the top but I loved it, one of the best evil twin stouts I can recall. Drank over a few hours, kind of a commitment. The boozy aspect cuts through the sweet coconut dessert flavor nicely.
