From the bottom of the can: "04/06/21 09:11"

Appearance: The body is a pale yellow-beige color that is nearly opaque. It has a medium-large head that is white and has a pockmarked surface. The surface looks a bit like whipped egg whites. It has very good retention.

Aroma: It has a nice aroma of mango with some notes of pineapple and orange zest. The aroma is really nice but a bit mellow.

Taste: Up front there is a taste of hop bine oil mixed with some mango and grapefruit pith. The middle of the mouth has some grain character and the raw hop flavor comes through even more with a bit of a resin character. It has very fresh hop flavors. Alcohol comes through from time to time but the raw hop character is the highlight, followed but the more fruity hop notes. The back of the palate and aftertaste are very clean, clearly displaying more of the same hop bine character along with a bit of mint.

Mouthfeel: It is smooth and it fills the palate. Medium bodied and pillow soft. Slight hop burn and mild bitterness.

Overall: The beer has all of the hallmarks of a New England IPA although it's not listed that way on the can. The can states that this is a "DOUBLE DRY HOPPED INDIA PALE ALE" and it definitely delivers the hop character. This beer is better than many of the competitive beers on the market, although the aroma could be a bit stronger. Having this beer at just over 2 months in the can, I would recommend it within that time-frame but especially if you can find it on tap. I would definitely buy it again.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store just around the corner. It poured a smoothie pale yellow with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had subtle stone fruit peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with stone fruit start and subtle white grapefruit finish. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Poured from a 16oz can dated 4/6/21 at fridge temp to a Nonic.
Extremely light-colored yellow/white body sits below a pretty aggressive white head that fades relatively quickly to 1/4".
Smells mildly of orange pith, not much there but nothing bad.
Taste is apricot and lemonade. Sweet, but not overly so. There is some mild hop burn on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium.
Okay, but not great.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of pineapple, guava, mango and orange with a touch of caramel sweetness. Nice tropical fruit taste with pine and sweet caramel.

As a brewing company that has mastered the fusion of more bitter and dry IPA with the juicier, hazier taste of the New England-styles, Evil Twin continues create beers that have the tastebuds spinning with delight.

IPA is the Dizziness of Freedom is one such IPA, brewed to standard strength and pouring with a generous milky haze, Pale gold and crowning with a frothy white swath of foam, the beer immediately lures the nose with a bevy of fruit perfume. Highly floral and laced with creamy cereal, the aromas also play host to hemp, grassiness and peppery geranium. Sweeter in its initial taste, the flavors lean in with shortcake, light honey, cereal sweetness and a hint of cream.

But as the flavors simmer on the middle palate, its the hops that shine tall. A growing taste of white grapefruit, orange zest and green berries and tropical fruit lead the way. Under ripened mango, white wine, dried pineapple, papaya, pawpaw and passionfruit all take turns completing the fruit cocktail en route to a spicy bitterness laced with lemon pepper, hemp, hay and spruce resins.

Medium bodied and trending drier than the average hazy IPA, Dizziness of Freedom finishes on the drier, spicier and more bitter side of malty-dry and with a long and resinous aftertaste of green tea, pine, botanical grasses and a spicy hint of gin for extra measure. This is surely the dizzy water that hop heads all deserve.
