Poured into a snifter - jet black pour with dark foam risen.
Aromas of predominating raspberry, jelly followed by some chocolate and vanilla in the middle. Definitely smells of donuts as descripted. The more I get the nose the more the jelly smells a bit artificial.
Taste follows the nose. Getting some jelly that seems artificial with raspberry, slight strawberry in there, chocolate, vanilla.
Feel is full bodied almost oily but not there yet. Definitely a sipper.
Overall this was a good experience to try. I'd prefer the original even more jesus but this is still good.

unique beer in a couple of ways, chief among them how not sweet it is for being modeled on a donut, like, its sweet still sure, but the residual sugar is not a hold up for me, its pleasant, and it smooths the space between the tart raspberry and the bitter malt, i like what it does here and actually think the overall proportions of this are pretty nice, even the warming alcohol plays a role. black and thick in the glass, zero head at all from the tap. i think part of what works here is that the base beer is great, which we know from so many other versions of it, a rather complex dark grain build, maybe wheated, a hint of smoke and raisin and cigar among the more obvious cocoa and coffee notes, i think it sets up some interesting channels for the raspberry to weave in and out of, and it does have a jam or jelly center thing going on, but again, still more beer than dessert to me. i am however glad that i found this on tap instead of buying one of the exorbitantly priced cans i have seen around, not sure i could drink a whole one for one thing, but also im not sure its good enough to warrant a price like that. some of the flavors are a little muted and tired, maybe this has been on tap awhile, tough to say, faint oxidation, fruit fade, and an almost stale coffee vibe, especially as it warms. i do like all the body, i like how natural the fruit is even though it still hits on the jelly thing too, and overall there is a lot to like here, even if this isnt a style i generally gravitate towards. it has me curious for some of the other fruit editions of this, blueberry could be cool with a little tannic tangy thing there, and strawberry must be positively decadent! always fun to drink stuff from evil twin, you never quite know what to expect...

16oz can poured into a tulip
A- pours a thick jet black with a one-finger creamy dark brown head that has good retention and leaves some lacing behind
S- smoky roasty chocolate and coffee up front, followed by a bit hit of jammy raspberry. Undertones of vanilla, molasses and black licorice
T- sweet, jammy and slightly tart raspberry notes hit the palate immediately, followed by a nice roasty note of the base beer, giving flavors of charred malt, ash, anise, chocolate, molasses and coffee. The finish gives more raspberry that turns more onto the sweet side on the finish, lingers of charred malt, roast and raspberry
M- thick and viscous mouthfeel with moderate carbonation leads to a creamy and velvety mouthfeel that finishes chewy and creamy
O- the raspberry works well with the base beers bold roasted notes, making it an ideal base stout for adjuncts

I buy Evil Twin products, especially stouts, whenever I see them. For this loyalty, I am rewarded with some of the greatest stouts ever made.
This one opens deep black with a gorgeous brown fizz and lacing. The aroma is thick with raspberries, malts, and alcohol. Wonderful. The taste is even more jesus with fruit. So good, and since you have to sip, you sip fast. And you hope the lovely taste will linger. Yum.
Highly recommended.

16oz can pours out pitch black with a mocha-colored head and a sticky residue left on the glass. Strong, sweet fruity raspberry and lesser notes of chocolate, char, and roast on the nose. Impressions of brown sugar, more dark roasted malt on the palate blends beautifully into that raspberry/jelly donut character; there is definitely the impression of glazed, confectionary donut, not overwhelming or cloying but it is detectable. The body is sticky and quite full-feeling with a minor but present alcohol warmth.

Never heard of "jelly Jesus" let alone know that I needed one in my life. But with the regal reputation of Even More Jesus Imperial Stout behind them, its pretty clear that I need more of this jelly Jesus in my life as well.
Viscous, black and pouring with milkshake consistency, Raspberry Jelly Donut Even More Jesus patiently layers in concentric rings before finally separating a mocha-rich froth from an ominously black body. With the sultry scent of smoky chocolate, bold roast coffee and a solid overcast of berry, the malt-centric beer shines on the nose. Lusciously sweet and richly textured, a huge and juicy malt display boasts molasses, nougat, dark chocolate and a creamy underlay.
As the dark ale saturates the tastebuds, the middle palate is awash with dessert-like consistency. Bittersweet chocolate weaves in and out of a java-like experience with coffee, vanilla cream, sorghum and blackstrap molasses. With a sweeter raspberry flavor, a glaze-like fruitiness adds a port-like complexity and sherry-like dryness to a spicy, warming and kahlua character late. Hints of bitter char help to offset the sweetness on its way to a finish of campfire and roasted marshmallow.
Full bodied, chewy and off-cloying, the enormous stout shows a high level of complexity, charm and whimsy while still remaining familiar to stout lovers. A long finish of creamy coffee, smoky chocolate and chambord liquor complete the session with an aftertaste that extends deep into the next sip.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sticky patches of lace on the glass. It smelled of raspberry jelly, caramel, toffee, chocolate and coffee. Sweet raspberry taste with toffee, chocolate and toffee.
