Served in a snifter glass from the can.
Appearance: Thick espresso with a dark tan head with a semi thick head thick initially rose half a finger's length with a hard pour.
Smell: Strawberry candied syrup, almost like Hershey's strawberry syrup hovering the nose.
Taste: Sweet chocolate with a stronger strawberry notes.
Mouth: Medium carbonation with an ultra sticky body.
Overall: a dessert in a glass that feels like devil's food cake mixed with a strawberry marmalade.

This is pretty much what you'd expect from the name, ingredients, and pedigree: a strawberry-flavored imperial coffee stout. The impressive roasty bitterness of regular Even More Jesus is tempered by the strawberry, and whatever they added for the "donut" aspect. The strawberry is noticeable but restrained. Body was a bit thin given the 12% ABV and pastry stout-like impression, but more or less aligned with the OG EMJ.
Overall, an excellent variant on an iconic stout.

16 ounce can, no dating that I could find on the can or label. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with around an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. The brew smells like strawberry syrup, chocolate, coffee, herbalness and some burnt/charred malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, with dark bread and vanilla flavors noticeable too. The strawberry flavor started off a bit sharp and seemed really artificial at first, but luckily it got better as the beer warmed. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and a bit rich with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this brew, but the artificial strawberry flavor still bugged me a little bit. It's a good brew and worth trying, but not one of my favorites in the Even More Jesus series.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque black in the glass with a one finger brown head with great retention and nice lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, strawberry and a hint of chocolate; malt and strawberry dominate. Flavor is dark toasted malt with light char, strawberry (although I'm getting more raspberry honestly), milk chocolate and vanilla. Raspberry and chocolate finish. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess, nice mouth feel. Another off the wall, but tasty stout from Evil Twin. As noted, I'm getting more a raspberry vibe, but can taste that it's strawberry because I know it's there. Usual deep malt and chocolate notes from Jesus, but perhaps a little less char and coffee. Lots of raspberry/strawberry chocolate truffle flavor here, more than donut. Great dessert stout. Nicely done.

Everyone needs a little more Jesus in their lives, But slathered with strawberry and pastry effects, we definitely need more of it for the sweet tooth.
Jet black, viscous and pouring with a nougat-like consistency, Strawberry Jelly Donut Even More Jesus layers patiently in lacy rings before finally separating a mocha-rich froth from an ominously dark body. With the sultry scent of smoky chocolate, bold roast coffee and a solid overcast of red berries, the malt heavy beer weigns on the nose. Lusciously sweet and rich in its texture, a huge and juicy malt display boasts molasses, nougat, dark chocolate and a sweet cream underlay.
As the Imperial "pastry" Stout saturates the tastebuds completely, the middle palate is awash with dessert-like flavors and feels. Bittersweet chocolate flows throughout its java-like character of coffee, vanilla, cream, sorghum and blackstrap molasses. With a sweeter strawberry flavor, a glaze-like fruitiness adds a port-like complexity and sherry-like dryness to a spicy, warming and kahlua character late and long on taste. Hints of bitter char help to offset the sweetness on its way to a finish of campfire and burnt marshmallow.
Full bodied, chewy and off-cloying, the enormous stout shows a high level of complexity, charm and whimsy while still remaining familiar to stout lovers. A long finish of creamy coffee, smoky chocolate and alcoholic jam complete the session with an aftertaste that extends deep into the next sip.
