Black in color with no light penetration. There’s a fingernail of dark brown around the rim. The aroma is of raspberries and vanilla. I am tasting raspberries, chocolate, vanilla, coffee, and almonds. The mouth is thick and sticky.

Poured from a 16oz can into pint glass in February 2026. I drank this within 1 month of purchase from their Bethlehem pub.
Appearance: Very dark black with very little head. The head was dark reddish-tan, with fine bubbles, and there was very little lacing on the glass. There was no head remained after a couple of minutes.
Smell: Strong aroma of coffee, chocolate, and alcohol that filled the air as soon as the can was opened. There is some additional sweetness like caramel, and vanilla. Not much hop aroma.
Taste: There is an interesting combination of flavors. There are strong mix of chocolate, coffee, and smoky rousted stout malt flavors. Also, a little caramel flavor. There is very little bitterness from hops. There is a strong alcohol presence that matches 12% listed on the label. There is a strong oak and whiskey aftertaste, that is enjoyable.
Mouth-feel: This is a big beer, as expected, and feels thick in the mouth. It has an extremely smooth and creamy body.
This is a good Imperial Stout, and it has a variety of flavors that adds a nice complexity to the beer. The coffee, chocolate, and roasted malt flavors nicely contrast and balance each other. It is very smooth and enjoyable to drink. I would definitely buy this again.

Pours pitch black color with a 2-3 finger thick brown foamy head that was packed with huge bubbles, fading slowly and leaving decent lacing. Smells of hot fudge, brownie batter, maple syrup, dark chocolate, vanilla, some hints of fruit and molasses. Taste is very similar to the nose with everything above listed plus red berries, brown sugar, burnt coffee grounds, roasted hazelnuts, cocoa powder and smoked malts. It’s thick but hides the booze well, but overall it’s a tad bit too sweet.

Pours an effervescent chestnut/mahogany with a pinky of mocha colored head. Viscous, minimal head retention & lacing
S: Vanilla, coffee. Brown sugar & cinnamon late
T: Follows the nose, some chocolate notes. woody bitterness, molasses & dryness up front. Maple syrup surfaces as this beer warms up, along with some booze bite, raspberry chocolate, brown sugar, a little cinnamon & marshmallow as well, plus coffee & dryness. Finishes with chocolate, coffee, brown sugar & marshmallow
MF: Medium body, creamy carbonation. Warming
Doesn't drink too bad for its heft. a lot going on here, but doesn't seem disjointed

The pour is very dark brown, nearly black, with a dark brown head that forms and dissipates relatively quickly. For the ABV this is expected. Got no lacing.
The taste; the can didn’t mention any adjuncts or additives so I went into this thinking it was just an imperial stout. But the first sip disabused me of that thought.
Way too smooth and sweet. I didn’t get the raspberry but the other additives were present and accounted for. Faint maple, definitely chocolate, some coffee and I couldn’t discern between the Muscovado sugar and marshmallow. But the sweetness was there.
The feel is as smooth as the flavors, this is far too easy to quaff.
OA, while I would have preferred a “pure” imperial stout, this was a very pleasant treat.

Completely caught off guard by this Imperial. Sampling the draft version at Taco Mac Woodstock. Very memorable Xmas beer with many notes in every sip. No aftertastes at all, smooth going down but needs to be allowed to warm prior to consumption which really brings out the flavors. Reminiscent of dark chocolate cherry cordials.

Gifted a can. Poured @50F into my Akkkurat beer glass. Big attractive pour thick nut brown head which began high volume but moved down to residual halo and decent lacing. Full complex nose. Taste was pretty complex and transitioned a bit over the session. Started big almond, medium-high cacao % chocolate and some fruit. Raspberry grew. Coffee more supportive throughout but not a starring role. The sugar , maple and marshmallow sweetness and flavors were not dominant but formed a base flavor and seemed to add a bit of creamy taste that melded with the big dark malts. Body was rich and velvety without being sticky. No real abv burn or distraction. Over all big creamy rich imp stout that had a mess of flavors but no real coherence… more darts thrown on the wall. For those who enjoy raspberry in their stouts they probably would be happy. I don’t. So I never really enjoyed that ongoing intrusion. As usual Evil Twin makes exceptionally well crafted stouts. And this is a really well made enjoyable sipper. I was happy to have a break from barrels, but these particular flavor combinations just didn’t work for me.

I feel like this is very chocolate forward with spices on the back end. I really enjoy it and it’s honestly a great treat and break from BA stouts. Hides its 12% realllly well. If I were to do a direct comparison to another beer, I would pick Stone’s Xochoco. Where the Stone is ‘lighter’ (for a stout) and def a Mexican hot chocolate, the More Xmas is hot coco with spices and some extra girth/umph.
I am personally looking to keep a few around for chilly days and sweet tooth nights!
Merry Xmas, Ya Filty Aminals!

Poured a black body with two-finger dark tan head that slowly dies. Smell reminds me of cinnamon, roasted chocolate, raspberries and nuts. Heavy body, nutty and creamy, has a chocolate covered raspberry sweetness balanced with a nutty dryness that has hints of creamy vanilla and mostly hides the booze and is very enjoyable.

A big beer!!! High alcohol content but not THAT boozy. Poured from a 16 oz can into an Air Force Academy snifter, this beer was a dense black color with no light coming through. It had a surprisingly large frothy brown head with decent retention for such a big beer. The head fades to a covering of the glass, but even that was thicker than the usual filmy covering. There was even a few patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste were malty with some coffee and chocolate. Plenty of vanilla and some subtle Christmas spicing (no strong cinnamon). Quite tasty and not too sweet. Mouthfeel is mostly smooth and rich. The first sip appears a bit boozy, but after that, it seems to mellow out. A slow sipper to be sure but without cloying sweetness or booziness. I was able to enjoy it with a spareribs dinner so it isn't just a dessert beer. Evil Twin is often "over the top". This beer is a more mainstream Imperial Stout.

Opaque coffee black color with some ruby highlights and a modest tan head that soon becomes just a ring but does manage some bits of lacing.
The aroma is vaguely sweet with roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla and almonds.
The taste is big roasted malt up front with a bit of a bite, then the coffee. dark chocolate and almonds followed by a mildly sweet vanilla and slightly tart raspberry. The finish goes back to dry with lingering roasted malt and coffee, mild bitterness balanced by a touch of sweetness and some alcohol warmth.
The body is full+, viscous, sticky but velvety smooth, moderate carbonation, very drinkable. Altogether, this is what an imperial stout should be, big flavor, complexity, full bodied, very enjoyable. This should be a great after dinner drink, Christmas or anytime.
