On tap at Evil Twin NYC - Dumbo in Brooklyn, NY.
This one pours a clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like biscuity malt, light honey sweetness, crackers, and herbal hops.
It really does blow my mind that a brewery well know for making candy bar stouts and cotton candy sours is so good at making oak-conditioned lagers. This has a light and pleasant spicy and herbal hop character, just a hint of fermented honey sweetness, and a nice biscuity and crackery malt backbone.
This is light bodied, clean, crisp, and super drinkable, with a fantastic drinkability.
If the price was better, I could set back many mugs of this one. It's excellent.
