No canning date. Can to snifter.
Look: Pours a full intense red. Light reddish, fine-grained foam. Tiny bits of fruit sediment floating all over the place.
Smell: Red berries. Subtle sweetness with a hint of acidity.
Taste: Jam-like red berries on the brink of fermenting. Apricot is barely perceptible. Very sweet. Almost no acidity.
Feel: Full and creamy. Nice level of carbonation. Thick as a smoothie.
Overall: Good fruited sour (ale) with a clear focus on red berries. The beer‘s high sweetness is tamed a bit by its carbonation but still feels a bit overpowering. Great looks and mouthfeel though. Better than many but not as outstanding as the best beers in this series.
