One year and three months old. Can to snifter.
L: Pours jet black with neither head nor lacing. No floaters visible.
S: Dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee and hints of coconut and vanilla. The barrel(s) can also be smelled.
T: Sweet, boozy and slightly bitter. Chocolate notes are dominating with vanilla and coconut popping up here and there.
F: Oily, syrupy and sticky. Very thick with no carbonation whatsoever.
O: Very good BA stout. The adjuncts are clearly distinguishable as the boozy barrel notes are quite nicely balanced and do not overpower everything else. The aftertaste is a bit off, but overall I definitely enjoyed this one.
