Pouring a deep orange-brown, this beer has tasting notes of dark stone fruit, subtle vanilla, toffee, & figs. Light-medium body.

This one pours a golden dark brown color, with a big fluffy head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like dried dark fruit, a splash of port wine, caramel, fig, and toffee.
The dark fruit character on this one is super complex - it's almost tannic, like a port or a red wine. This fruitiness comes out even stronger as the beer warms up a bit. There's breadiness, fig, toffee, caramel, all sorts of pleasant maltiness. This would probably take very well to barrels.
This is medium bodied and creamy, with a pleasant boozy warmth to it.
I never had Sinister Kid, so I can't compare, but this feels like a reasonably spot on take on the style. Evil Twin NYC has a lot of surprises up its sleeve.
