While I did enjoy the beer...I was completely thrown off at first because I bought an Oktoberfest... And got a weisnbier... If I had known...it would have been pleasant... But as a surprise...I was left confused. I did not lower my marks for my ignorance...but I'll be watching you more closely EvilTwin...I mean honestly... They told me in the name...I just didn't take heed!

Dark straw colored. Medium carbonation. Huge notes of lavender. Also orange and then on the aftertaste I get peanuts. Almost an aftertaste of stale beer. Overall very refreshing.

Murky orange body with a white cap. Crisp malts, bready yeast, and a hint of oak tartness on the finish. Taste is much the same, with an earthy hop kiss. Feel is bright and malty but not super crisp, dulled a bit near the end as the yeast isn't super frothy either. Not bad but kind of odd

This is what you get if you take an Oktoberfest beer and cross it with a tart sour. On the thinner side. Heavy carbonation. Lots of bubbles clinging to the glass. But oddly crushable. Not bad overall, but definitely perplexing.

16oz undated can poured into a mug at fridge temp 6% ABV per label. The beer pours unbright, light amber with very light khaki colored head. The head recedes to a thin ring single layer of bubbles. The aroma is mild with tart, sweet toasted malt. The taste is more tart malt. No real bitterness or hop influence. Thin bodied with high carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, gross. I am not a sour beer fan and it's certainly not what I expect in an oktoberfest.

Everyone’s favorite fall festival is right upon us. And as the weeks quickly approach us, we hurriedly rush to the occasion. And so does Evil Twin with their fest beer.
Pouring an oddly hazy and pale gold appearance, the heady T.G,I. Oktoberfest is quick to greet the nose with a dry cracker-like malt backbone along with spicy and citrusy hops. As it’s taste greets the early palate, the dry cracker sweetness and breadiness sets a less savory tone.
An excessive amount of carbonation scrubs the malts from the tongue and ushers in a lemony and orange peel flavor that’s a stark deviation from traditional German fest beers. Trending bitter and dry, the taste turns to peppery hops, grasses and pine in a daring pale ale direction.
Light, dry and missing the mark on all aspects of Oktoberfest beer, Evil Twin’s version trends astringent, carbonic and tart with an aftertaste of leaf and lime.

Pours a clear dark amber, very little head formation or retention. Nose is noble hop and baking spice; very little in the way of malt notes. Taste plays similar with bitterness up front, light diacetyl, light barley, tannic finish. Feel is full but with some light greasiness. Soft carbonation.

From the pint can, it pours a clear amber color with a nice white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets smooth malt scents. The mouth follows with a richly malty flavor with a pleasant aftertaste.

16 ounce can - $3.50 at Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a questioningly clouded, light amber-tan body with a frothy, thin, white head.
Smell: Meager toasty tone, faint hint of sweetish toffee. All the while, there's a low sour, unclean scent, like an old, soiled dish rag.
Taste: Light toast with a light, lightly sweet flash of toffee. All the while there's that sourish, unclean taste to it. Minor note of herb, low bitterness. Maintains that odd, unpleasant twang through the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: Lousy! This can't be what they were going for. It just can't.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing on the glass. It smelled of bready malt, caramel and toffee. Sweet malty taste with caramel, toffee and a mild bitterness.
