These guys and their brand names! 1.5" of dense golden brown foam develops after the pour and holds for an eternity. The underworld, within a Swiftwater Snifter Glass is occupied by very dark chocolate brown beer and small chunks of something (cookie debris?). The sediment gathers on the bottom where tiny carbonation bubbles continuously agitate with slowly rising columns. An uninterrupted curtain of lace rises with each sip to reveal a dense syrupy film and thick legs, before dropping in anticipation of the next sip.
Well, everything the name suggests is here all at once. Add to the cast supporting characters of graham crackers while the caramel and cappuccino scream loudly. Chocolate, pralines and vanilla make cameo appearances, while the list of characters keeps progressing like a freight train.
There is no lack of sweetness here, while bitterness is light and confined to the deep roasted malt. A ton of cappuccino and chocolate leads the performance as everything from the aroma is represented. A long finish starts strong then lingers, hovers actually just within perception. This is another one that warms well, although there is little progression. Heck, where could it go with so much complexity?
A dense body with a thick syrupy texture and faint carbonation. I will say, the "skins" were an unpleasant surprise, knocking almost a full point of the score. Alcohol is high, although well controlled. Sugar builds on the lips.
Definitely a dessert beer! No pairing is necessary, although German Chocolate Cake of Tiramisu might hold-up.

16oz can.
Pours like 10/40 motor oil with barely a head of brown, even with a stretch-pour. Burnt sugar, dark fudge, vanilla espresso, and Kahlua in the nose. Full bodied with a oily, tacky, slick mouthfeel. Sweet and decadent on the palate with Hershey's syrup, Black Forest cake batter, and a Kahlua reduction. Finishes sweet with lingering chocolaty booze.

Served in a snifter glass from the can.
Appearance: comes off a ridiculously dark espresso body with a dark hand head which bubbled up to almost a notch below one finger's length. Had settled quick after one sip with a semi sticky body to the glass.
Smell: think of maple pecans vanilla nutmeg oil infused into one. A very ridiculously complex aroma which sticks in the nostrils, and tells you a lot about the body of the Brew.
Taste: ridiculously rich dark chocolate mixed with nuts vanilla cacao and a lot of coffee but still smooth yet ridiculously sweet. A pastry stout literally sitting right in front of you. Devils food cake right in front of you.
Mouth: very rich body coming off with the most ridiculous after taste and very sticky finish with a soft carbonation.
Overall: evil twin is such a gamble whether it's from he will twin NYC or the Connecticut brewery over the goals of the fact if this course is your eyes grab it it's worth every penny. Salud!

Appearance: So dark that you cannot see the bubble show but it is clearly happening as the mocha colored head builds to two fingers; solid retention and splashy lacing
Smell: Caramel macchiato captures it pretty well, with a chocolate cookies and cream aspect
Taste: Very sweet (or extra sweet as the name suggests) with the chocolate cookies and cream hitting, up front, and the caramel macchiato sensation in the back; modest warmth in the gullet
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low to moderate carbonation; creamy
Overall: A well executed, very sweet desert

Modest head production, but it does grow into a firm, long-lasting dark brown foam topping. Body is quite murky, mostly evident during the pour, but despite the dark brown color, you can still see the murk in the body. Parts of it look quite nice, and parts of it look like ... well, nothing with a pleasant parallel.
Smells exactly how you might expect, but even that is remarkable. Initial impression is that of a foo-foo bourgie coffee, but that's followed immediately by chocolate, caramel, and cookies and cream. Smells absolutely decadent.
Flavor and feel follow. It's not quite an iced cappuccino, as there's still plenty of beer flavor, but the impression isn't far off. Tasting notes of coffee, pecan, vanilla, cream, chocolate, brown sugar, date, fig, molasses, cookie dough, red grape, cherry, cola, toffee ... unbelievable. An imperial pastry dessert stout without question. Thick and chewy. Minimal alcohol burn for the ABV, but it's big enough in the mouth - and the lingering chest heat - to let you know, without a doubt, that this beast clocks in the double digits. On the higher end of sweetness.
